In regards to Nexusmods complete contempt of the modders and modding community as a whole, I will be taking down this mod (and all others, but only this one really matters) in the coming weeks.
You will be able to find & download the Lightsaber Color Editor on my Github, here: https://github.com/Callyste/Lightsaber-Color-Editor
It currently does not have the latest version, but I will be updating the code and release to match the current version as soon as I find the time to.
Doesn't work for me... tried everything, renaming the file like they recommend... literally tried everything, even the github version. Nothing, Nadda'.
I have found the reason, it seems that there is a limited range of colors it can use. For example, the basic colors in the Windows palette. If the color used exceeds a certain range, it will not work.
The PAK file is there, but it doesn't work. ======================》 I have found the reason, it seems that there is a limited range of colors it can use. For example, the basic colors in the Windows palette. If the color used exceeds a certain range, it will not work.
Hey, I love your mod! It's working wonders and really enhances my JFO experience. Could you also make a version that works for Jedi Survivor? I'd love the improved green lightsaber too ;) Have a nice day!
I cant find the pak file I exported but its still there somehow bc I can import the file I exported previously through the interface. I cant uninstall or get rid of it at all if I cant find it. Does someone know why its not showing despite it being there?
For those trying to get this mod to work I found a fix.
To clarify, some folks have a problem getting the custom colors to show. You can use the color editor to export the pak file into the game's directory. It seems fine (you can find the pak file in the game folder) but in-game the colors don't change.
After some trial and error I got it to work by editing the name of the pak file, changing the hyphen to an underscore.
Hey, great mod. Really changed things up for me while I was waiting for Jedi Survivor to release. On that note, is there something like this in the works for Jedi Survivor?
