If you have the game on Steam then just disable Steam Input. If you play wireless you need DS4Windows and just emulate a PS4 controller. If you play wired then just plug and play.

Great mod for those who don't have a ds4 controller or doesn't want the trouble to do the fix, but just a heads up, the game already supports ds4 button prompts while wired, if on steam, disable steam input, if you want to make it work wireless, then also go to ds4windows, edit your profile and find a selection box to select the type of controller to be emulated, you can emulate a wired ds4 controller instead of a xinput controller and it will work wireless, it works for a lot of other games released past 2016 too, enable passtrhough for the touchpad and you're golden
I was having trouble to make it work on Origin, but I rename the file and add "_99_P.pak" like most mods and it work. Thanks a lot for making this, really useful!
I can not get the game to show PS4 prompts no matter what I do even though it knows I'm using a controller. I've looked it up and tried the stuff they recommend but it doesn't change. I, for one, am glad this mod exists.
Because God forbid someone wants to use a PS3 controller to play the game. Mind-boggling, I know. Who in their right mind would ever want to use something OLD, right? Well I do, and unfortunately I have to use a 3rd party program that tricks the pc into thinking it's a 360 controller. So that's why anyone in my position would need these mods.
It's a great mod, don't get me wrong... but. Doesn't the game already have native PS4 controller support and shows the corresponding UI prompts when using the controller? It has showed that on my side. And would you really need it if you are already using a Xbox controller? Not trying to be an ass or anything, just curious.
I remember u need to connect the DS4 wired to get the DS4 icons, if u connect your DS4 wirelessly, it'll show Xbox icons Or if u use DS4Windows app, it'll show xbox icons as well

I'm using a Dualsense (PS5 gamepad) through Steam which shows Xbox prompts on Fallen Order. I assume this would also be the case with people using DS4Windows for their Dualsense.
So ignore comments like this, maker of this mod. It is 100% useful for many of us: wireless users, DS3 users, and Dualsense users.
