I am trying to follow the install guide but the instructions don't make sense to me. "edit the icon included" What icon? Edit how? Target? Call me dumb but I just want clear instructions or an installer.
It seems Whenever I launch it always and ONLY launches in vanilla EAW. I am 100% sure i downloaded the updated mod and I'm placing it in the FoC folder. Idk what else to do but it looks like such a cool mod, anyone have ideas???
P.S. I have Gold Edition on Steam
EDIT: I have infact changed the target for the launch app, it seems the mod forces a "EAW" launch because with the mod downloaded the FOC application will only run vanilla EAW, but when i get rid of the mod folder my FOC application launches FOC just fine.
**FIXED** For anyone who also encounters my problem, I have developed a solution. Here's what I did. 1. Reinstall Empire at War: FOC to ensure files are all correct. 2. Follow the instruction of the wordpad that comes with the mod until you have to edit the target box. 3. Change the "Target" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\rotc 4. Change the "Start In" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption" (unless you have it somewhere else but this is the default Steam file location). 5. Open Steam and go to your library. Right click EAW and select properties. 6. Under the "launch properties" tab type "Swfoc MODPATH=Mods\RotC" 7. OPEN THROUGH STEAM. For some reason using the given application directly does not work.... You must go through steam which will go through the application then through Star Wars EAW. If you wish to not use the mod, undo step 6. If you wish to bring the mod back....redo step 6.
Hopefully this helps someone
**REVIEW** After playing the mod I believe it's absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad someone finally brought in the clones as a playable faction. When playing on some land battles it seemed the enemy did not want to fight back or do anything until I provoked them... Idk why but hopefully its just a minor bug that can be fixed. I did very much enjoy the feel of the Republic in space battles through! It honestly felt like this is an official expansion. I really look forward to any and all updates/improvements/bug fixes made by the writer. Very nice job and thank you for your work!!!
Can only play one map in Galactic Conquest, and the empire is capable of busting out a super star destroyer while I'm starting said Galactic Conquest on tech level 2, but when I select the empire, it's nowhere to be seen
Hello, Im having some issues trying to install this mod. When you download it, it normally comes with other files but for me there is only 1 file and its a notepad file. What am i supposed to do?

Says XML Files are not working
I changed the target and destiny and made the mod start loading but it crashes during said load screen.
edit:
Nevermind. I figured it out. Had to make a new shortcut and edit target/destiny.
anyone else seeing this?
