I don't know if you thought about it, but you should consider making Leia's saber hilt for Rey, pretty sure you'd nail it. Not a request btw, just an idea, lol.
Hi, amazing work you have done with this mod and PAX 4K High Poly Lightsabers. I wanted to ask, which mod is obi wan's 2003 clone wars skin in the photos of the mod? It looks very cool. Thank you.
Attack of the Clones Obi-Wan (2021): https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsbattlefront22017/mods/7402 (Only the hair file from the modular pack)
There's also an unreleased retouching I made for Obi-Wan's face texture, but there are other mods with the same purpose on Nexus (including the second mod listed above). There's a list of mods used in my screenshots on the bottom of the description page for consultation.
Hey! The hilt has been remade with added details, having a slightly higher poly count in comparison to the PAX 4K High Poly Lightsabers hilt, and to fix some small accuracy mistakes. The textures have also been made from scratch to be higher quality.
This particular version of the Episode III style hilt is accurate to the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series hilt. The main differences are the Episode IV style emitter, the oxidation in the brass section of the hilt and slight wear across the black grip parts and metal body.
The PAX 4K High Poly Lightsabers hilt remains accurate to the ROTS version of the hilt.
You can add both mods to your load order. If you want a lightsaber from this mod to replace Obi-Wan's lightsaber from "PAX 4K High Poly Lightsabers", you need to place this mod below it in the "Applied Mods" list in Frosty Mod Manager.
Another option would be using the standalone version of "PAX 4K High Poly Lightsabers", which comes with a separate file for each lightsaber. This way you can add every file from that mod except for Obi-Wan's, then choosing a file from this mod to add instead.
If I misunderstood your question and it's about if you can add more than one Obi-Wan lightsaber into the game so both can appear in-game at the same time then unfortunally you can't, since both mods modify the same files. One file will always overwrite the similar one contained in the other mod.
Congratulations on making more accurate Lightsaber models. Its pretty hilarious that DICE wasnt even able to pull this off completely accurate when they had access to props and photogrammetry.
Thanks, Bill. It really is quite unfortunate what hapenned to the hilts. I believe that originally the artists did make pretty good models (although still bland and plasticky imo), but the subsequent compression just ruined the whole thing. The textures are so low-res and some models look like they've had polygons reduced by automated means, outright breaking them. I guess they underestimated how important lightsaber hilts are to fans and how much noticed they'd be in-game. I'm glad you're enjoying the mods!
