Nevermind, I was using the scarf file at the same time as the main one! I had been under the impression it was an add-on module, not a separate file altogether.
1. Lazer's Improved Resistance - BF PLUS "Load above BF Plus/NA. Includes officer retexture" What is NA? 2. Do I need to use the main mod and the bf+ compatibility mod?
First off absolutely LOVE this mod, all the new outfit additions are wonderfully canonical and it's great to see the tan TROS Resistance clothes and uniforms. Really feels like a proper militia now!
Main thing is the look of the Officers tho, idk how possible it would be to make them more like this? As these are the more movie accurate appearances outfit wise with just the cream shirt, Resistance crest and brown/dark leggings (maybe with a holster too?)
I do want to say though, this does clash with the Rogue One Stormtroopers, Royal Guard replacer which is a bit sad. The red waistcloth will appear on the human resistance specialists. But not the alien ones??? lol.
So, to anyone who uses that standalone like I do. Beware of that.
Could I request an optional file that keeps the officer as default? I quite like the standard uniform for them and would let me use the femofficers from the Rebel Alliance Overhaul!
And maybe somewhere down the line a resistance heavy backpack for them on the main mod? The body straps look a little odd with nothing attached to them and I think it would help them tie in better? IDK just my two cents still a really great mod regardless :)

2 you only need to use the BF+ compatibility mod
