I'm having this strange issue where the hilt keeps the mod even when the mod is not active or deleted... Nvm I'm just an idiot and didn't realize I had another one of the files at the end of the load order.
So I just encountered a thoroughly bizarre glitch with the new update: when using v8.0 (at least of the Hero option), trying to load the ST capital ship maps made the game crash. However, when I reverted to v6.0 like I used before updating (I hadn't updated to v7 since it still worked), it loaded fine. I found that very strange.
It might be a local issue because nobody else I've asked seems to have trouble downloading from the site (myself included).
But if there IS an issue with the download, it's probably a temporary NexusMods issue. Perhaps wait a while and try again later and/or try restarting your internet or using a free DNS.
Any update about whether you plan to make your restoration mods compatible with the latest version of the game? Vader still works, but Luke and Rey cause crashes and the improved hilts wont show up, even after updating frosty and deleting mod folder, they're just not conpatible now :P
I've done those a few times, and I guess its not working for other people too. It just won't show up in game. 4k Vader still working great, but Luke causes crashes for some reason, and maybe Rey and Leia as well. Not sure what to make of it.
I suppose it might be due to all of the assets/content that was planned to be in the game. It might be easier to pump out content this way (for them). I also notice that the poly count for a lot of the assets are lower than the last game.
There's a lot of characters that could benefit from it.
Vader's helmet and gloves in the first game are twice the resolution as they are in 2. I could probably do something akin to Sly's Vader there by retexturing some parts and making a super high-resolution Vader for things like his chestbox.

I've played for the several days with the version 8.5 and it looks and plays great, no problems encountered and previous issue is solved.
