A GALAXY IN CHAOS! All-out war has engulfed the galaxy as the evil ETERNAL REIGN does battle with the New Republic. Innocent planets are caught in the devastation as the conflict spirals out of control.

The darkness of the Eternal Reign spreads with each passing day, engulfing every star system in its path. The dark clone of Kano rules his newly conquered systems with an iron fist, mercilessly crushing all who oppose him. The New Republic fights with ferocity and bravery as it struggles to preserve the light. Defeated at every turn, there is little hope that they will prevail. However, a secret hope endures.

Three souls have awakened on a distant world. The heir to Skywalker, Ben Solo, now unites with the Commander of the 413th and Jedi Knight, Kano the First. Together, they come into the company of a face long believed to be dead. Jyn Erso now escorts the two as they set out to make sense of their new surroundings.

Prologue...

The sun shined brightly through the trees on a distant world. Birds chirped happily in a forest alive with jubilance. The world was still and peaceful. A small monument stood in this forest. Three tall rocks flanked the resting place of a man decorated with flowers. Wind softly flowed past the trees as if something magical was about to happen. The man resting on the rock suddenly awoke. He shot up to alertness as his head darted around in all directions. Confused, he stepped down from the monument. He was wearing dark clothes, and his black hair waved in the wind. He then heard a creaking noise in the distance.

Another person awoke nearby. “Agh,” He went, leaning up on the table. He shook his head around before realizing that his legs were exposed. He leaned forward and touched them. “What the…” Kano said, feeling real legs below him. He then tried to stand up, but as his feet touched the ground he faltered. “Ah, okay,” He reassured himself as he stood back up, “This is weird.” Then, moments later, disgruntled screaming came from the woods beside him. His head darted around as he saw a man sprinting out of the forest. “Agh!” Kano screamed as the man clobbered him into a nearby stone. Pinned with his back against it, he stared into the eyes of Ben Solo. “Who are you!” Ben screamed. “Who are you?” Kano asked. Ben then threw a punch at him, but he managed to dodge it as the fist hit the rock. The monument was smashed to pieces as Kano ducked out of the way. Ben then shot around, but as he did Kano threw a blast of force energy at him. He flew backwards into the rock as Kano charged towards him. The two then braced arms and grappled with one another. Each of their faces turned red as they battled for superiority. Ben then gained the upper hand as Kano’s feet failed him. He grabbed Kano’s shirt and threw him towards a nearby hill. Kano, however, used the force to pull Ben along. Solo flew towards him as the two tumbled down a hill. They each shouted out profanities as they rolled to the bottom. Eventually, the two came to a stop. “Agh, ow, ow,” Kano winced as he tried to rise back up to his feet. Ben brushed his shoulders off as the two then made eye contact. They each then screamed at each other, moving to continue the battle. As they did, a gigantic net sprung out from beneath their feet. They were both then instantly caught in the trap and lifted off the ground.

The two dangled in the air, unable to move properly. “Okay, didn’t see that one coming,” Kano remarked. “I’m starting to think… that you weren’t the one… who brought me here…” Ben panted. “Oh… really? What gave that away,” Kano responded sarcastically. “What’s your name?” “Kano, you?” “Solo.” “Okay Solo, got any ideas on how to get us out of this one?” “I’ve got a knife in my boot, if you can just…” “Yeah… yeah…” Kano then reached across the net. “Wrong boot.” “Sorry.” He then took the knife out of Solo’s boot and began cutting away at the rope. “Okay, now if I just…” Kano began, but the knife then slipped through his fingers and fell to the ground. “What happened? What’s going on?” “I dropped the knife!” “Great! Then just how are we!”

Bam! The rope holding up the trap was cut, and the two imbeciles fell to the ground. They each groaned in pain beneath the net. “Well you weren’t exactly who I planned on catching,” A voice said from outside the net. Kano then looked up to see a hooded figure standing before them. “I was wondering when you two were going to wake up,” The figure went as she pointed a bow and arrow at Kano. “Easy, easy,” Ben said as he threw the net off him and stood up, “Did you bring us here?” “No,” The figure responded, “You just appeared on those stones a few days ago.” “Appeared?” Kano asked as he slowly stood up next to Ben. “The last thing I remember was fighting Vader aboard a giant star station.” “Vader? You’re not 'that' Kano, aren't you?” Ben went, “You died about thirty years ago.” “Wait…” Kano continued, “Are we dead?” “About the furthest thing from it,” The figure went as she removed her hood. “What’s your name?” Ben asked. “Jyn,” She responded, “Jyn Erso.” “Okay, Jyn, would you care to explain to us just what the hell is going on here?” Kano asked. “That’s a simple question,” She answered as she drew back the bow, “With a long answer.” “Just tell us where we are,” Ben went. “Well, that’s gonna be tricky,” Jyn responded, “Better if I showed you.”

Jyn then led the two towards an opening in the trees. Solo and Kano gazed upwards in amazement at the bright blue sky. “What world is this?” Ben asked. “A world between worlds,” Jyn answered.
