Since I'm blocked from commenting on the mod itself I'll comment it here instead. If you want to have the improved AA while also the other additions BetterInifts makes what you do is you first download this mod and place it in your moddata directory, then use the plugin. The plugin will make the necessary edits to the initfs file and boom.
For some reason, the game doesn't launch when I replace the file, but works perfectly fine when I revert to the original one Am I doing something wrong? I don't use Frosty Mods Manager since I never installed any other mod
FrostyModManager makes a copy of the initfs file which is then used to launch the game (instead of the original file in the game folder). When you install this mod, Frosty will still use this old initfs copy which means that the mod won't be applied. Deleting the ModData folder forces Frosty to make a new copy of the modded file which will then be applied to the game as intended.
Я не знаю русского, надеюсь, перевод будет понятен :)Очень важно удалить папку ModData в директории игры. Если вы этого не сделаете, ничего не изменится.
Now if we can have a combination of Full Resolution SSR Reflections and Better Anti-Aliasing with streaming pool size increased so that people can use BF2 2022 with this...
There is another mod for HD reflections and it also changes the infits.win32 file, is there away to use this mod and the HD reflections at the same time?
I inspected the HD Reflections mod and believe me, it doesn't do what it says it does. The only thing it does is turning all post processing settings (low, medium & high) to the ultra option. Means, you can simply turn your ingame setting to ultra and it's the same.
I think there is a bug with this mod and battlefront remastered, since I noticed that I get alot of aliasing bugs with battlefront remastered, I think its cause the reflections of that mod change the post processing which also affects the anti aliasing. if you put post processing on low you will see theres alot less jaggies but if its on ultra you see alot more. Also, you werent wrong when you said it changes post processing to ultra, I used to get artifacts with pixelated reflections, but I realised if you turn post processing to low in a match, and then exit the menu and change it to ultra, the reflections will be normal again. I'm pretty sure the ssr reflections mod just does that automatically
Damn, this looks way better than the default. Props.
Now if only someone could fix those ugly ass reflections. Though, the last mod that did that caused crashes so. I guess you probably can't. Might be an engine limitation. Wouldn't be surprised.
friedifx has already fixed SSR in its future mod "BF2 Remaster" The only bug I notice is strange shadows in the form of stripes that appear on the walls or doors of the Death Star and Camino. I think it has to do with TAA artifacts, and even this mod doesn't do anything about it.
Huh, I have the same thing, is there any way to fix this while still having battlefront remastered? or is this only with the anti aliasing mod and battlefront remastered together
