This mod is supposed to change heroes and villains, making them stronger and giving them a better gameplay feeling. However, I consider most of my buffs as too op and gamebreaking, even for an offline mod. This is why I'm trying to rework this mod:
When I play as hero/villain I want to eliminate troopers, to have a feeling of power and domination, while I still want epic duels with enemy heroes/villains. When I use this mod, I feel strong against troopers but weak against other heroes/villains mainly because I increased their ability damage against other heroes/villains too. I plan to nerf that in my future version of the mod, to make it more balanced.
Some of you may recall Battlefront 2015 now. Troopers weren't that much of a challenge, while it was challenging to fight against other heroes/villains. I want to bring this kind of feeling back, in a Battlefront 2 variant (no, there won't be 1-shotting troopers with your lightsaber, that would be too boring).
My latest update brought passive abilites with it. I am not happy with that yet, since it took away starcards to equip, therefore the feature of creating certain loadouts. In Battlefront 2015 every hero was given a 'trait'. I remembered that and those traits are the kind of passives I want to add. I don't know if it's possible yet, but I'd like to give every hero a trait, a passive ability that builds up with doing kills. For Luke I'd like to bring back his movement speed trait, which gives him permanent movement speed for every kill. I'd enjoy this kind of gameplay mechanic, but as I just said: I don't know if it's possible.
I'd also like to have a 4th ability for every hero that, just like Anakins 'RETRIBUTION', builds up with taking damage. For Obi Wan I imagined an improved 'ALL-OUT PUSH', which you can charge like the normal variant, but has the kind of range Luke's 'FORCE PUSH' has. You could erase a whole hall filled with enemies with that.
On top of that, new starcards that can affect your 'ultimates'.
I'd like to have this in game, but I could want too much as I'm new to modding and have no clue if this possible. If it's really not possible, I'll balance this mod. At least for the 4th ability part, I know that you can add a 4th ability, which would have cooldown just like any other ability.
It doesn't matter which way it turns out, after this I'd start to work on new heroes, with Mace Windu being the first one.
But till any of these things happen, enjoy the game and my mod!
This mod is seemingly abandoned, but I just wanna leave a note that it works, but for some reason I can't spawn as Iden. Every other hero seems to work just fine, just not her.
And why are you warning not to use this mod in MP if it doesn't work there anyway? Anakin's health only increased in arcade, but in corpo mode it's the standard 800, and I couldn't even put a health booster card because you deleted it, lol. The mod is garbage because it doesn't make any sense.
No, not obviously lol. Do you catch the difference between: 1) no, you can't because it will give you a serious advantage and you'll probably end up getting banned, and 2) no, you can't because (why?) it doesn't f*#@ing work in MP anyway. What's the purpose of this mod, then? To fight bots in the arcade? And every time you want to play MP, quit the game and turn it off every time? That's goddamn absurd.
Misleading? How? I instantly state that this is supposed to be used along with Instant Action Overhaul and Battlefront Gameplay Rework. Either you are a troll or you just can't read good enough.
You're alittle slow huh? The point of modding is to enjoy the game more in Instant action or in private servers. If you can't grasp that idea than modding shouldn't be something you dabble in. Also the fact you're criticizing something you clearly have no idea on, shows everyone you're dumb.
Could you make an optional passive ability only changes perhaps with and without the health buffs? It would be useful to pair with other balancing mods.
Heroes have two sets of files: regular (affects players) and AP (affects hero AI). This mod only edits the regular ones, and that means AI heroes will not have these buffs.
Hey man, great mod, really like it! There's just one problem, and I don't know if it's a bug or it's just me, but basically when I try to play as either Han, Vader or Iden, I can select to play as them, but the game won't let me spawn in as them. For example, if I'm playing supremacy in instant action and have enough battle points to play as either of those 3, I can select them, but I don't spawn and get to play. I've tried to use only your mod because at first I thought it could be a problem with some of the other mods that I use, but that's not case (BTW most of the mods I use don't affect the gameplay or the characters. just some texture mods). I also tried this out with Mophead's IAO and I tried using them in Hvv, and the game also won't let me play with them, although in this case when I try to play them, the game spawns me in as a random hero and displays the message "No hero selected, starting as a random hero." I've tried every other hero and everyone works fine, besides those 3. And so far, this is the only problem I've noticed, everything else is working just fine, and it's only a problem with versions 2.0 and 2.1., while 1.0 works just fine. Could you look into this and see if you can fix it if it's a bug?
I'll look into that. I'm having the same bug (what irony) but with different heroes. It works for me when I don't double-click on them and instead click on them to show up and then press space (in the selection screen of matches).
I'd also recommend making Obi's defensive rush blaster deflection as accurate as it was before his animation change. Also if it's possible it would be good for him to be CC immune and block lightning with defensive rush from the front only.
I plan bigger changes for the next update. I'll make sure that these things are included BUT it could take a really long time, as I'm new to modding and still have to learn a bunch of things.
For General Grievous try to increase the speed of attack and deflection of the relentless advance and maybe put him the basic card of 40% reduction of damage on the relentless advance that will make him less vulnerable when using it, Put him also the possibility to have 3 or 4 dodges to favor his movement, increase his stamina bar of attack would not be bad either as well as this is basic damage of spell has that grievous is a danger for the classic soldier (like 150 of basic damage and 200 for the attack of back)
Thank you for the response! At the moment I'm about to add more passive abilities to every hero. I'm sure that you can increase Grievous' attack speed, but I didn't understand the blaster bolt deflection part. Do you mean I should increase the speed of the blaster bolts that are deflected? Because I'm not sure if I can edit this. His basic attack DMG is pretty high already, though I don't know the exact stats. I'll properly increase his all-out potential to make him match the movie and CW Grievous, who was known for aggressive and dangerous behaviour.

Stop with this mod, honestly, cheaters on every game since this kind of dumb f*** mod, every game is a mess on HvV. Since a few months and overpowered mod or buffs etc. Game is not enjoyable anymore. There is no anticheat at all. You are just killing the community. Thanks a lot. This is the last Battlefront we will get.
The description says that this is not MP safe. And since you are supposed to play offline with it, I highly recommend using Instant Action Overhaul and Battlefront Gameplay Rework.
