Please, could you fix the bug while they parts turn invisible from distance, becouse otherwise this is perfection, that's how stormtroopers must have looked like in the game from the beginning. :D
I believe the issue DICE had was they didn't want to recreate all Storm Troopers from the movies. If you've seen the original trilogy, you'd notice Storm Trooper helmets look different in all the moveis. The design DICE used makes a small appearance in the beginning of A New Hope where the Storm Troopers are looking for droids. But the helmet is the Return of the Jedi design. Apparently DICE used Photogrammetry when creating certain assets, so I assume they used Photogrammetry on this version of the Storm Trooper armor because it was the newest when it came to the original trilogy. Rogue One didn't get released until 2016 last I remember and DICE already scanned the model for Battlefront 2015, and since DICE is lazy, they probably didn't want to have to scan another model since Battlefront 2017 was suppose to be a cash grab but backfired.
vader immortal stormtroopers replaces the vanilla stormtrooper mesh/model, chuckys rogue one stormtroopers does the same, however i wanted to see if the vader immortal stormtroopers would work over chuckys, i myself thought it wouldnt work, but it did, this mod overrides rogue one stormtroopers, so you can have this model and chuckys scout trooper, snow trooper, rocket trooper, and death trooper. i doubt chuckys add ons that replace the assault and heavy class would work over vader immortal stormtroopers, but it just surprises me that they work together, just have this mod underneath base rogue one stormtroopers and it works.
Chucky's mod still has the invisible rocket trooper bug, so you're probably better off using this mod until he ever gets around to fixing it or when Deggial releases his Imperial mod.
these guys look so awesome love the detailing on the back, but it seems when the troops are a distance away their waist disappears even on ultra mesh quality, anyone else have this issue?
Seriously dude, stop posting requests that modders don't want to do on non-related mod pages. Just commission a modder to do whatever if you really wanted it or just simply do it yourself.
Sounds like a real dick thing to say but this would genuinely be pretty easy to do yourself. Tortuga included the Project File which includes the textures, and IAI 1.22's project file was also released so you can just re-texture tortuga's textures, import them over the IAI shocktrooper textures and boom, they're compatible
I was actually trying to be nice and give you instructions on how you could do it yourself, but you could always commission Tortuga to make a mod that works with the IAI shocktroopers
