hello i am trying to make a voice mod myself but cannot figure out how to edit the audio files in the game. if you could message me with some hints it would be greatly appreciated
This is most excellent! Don't know why people are sleeping on this mod. It does seem very much a work-in-progress though. Gonna make some notes:
- Dooku's third Emote [POWERFUL] crashes the game. - Many of Han's (and others') voice clips sound tinny, likely artifacting from the original film (Threepio squabbling). Perhaps use different lines to avoid these issues? - Levels are uneven, some being too quiet to hear and others too loud for how they're speaking (Kylo most evidently). - This is the definitive way to play Vader.
That's all for now, I hope updates are forthcoming! It's fine if not, this is neat as-is :D
Hi, sorry I didn't answer, I just read your message. I updated the mod yesterday to fix Dooku's emote, so I should be fine now. I tried to make the voicelines sound even as much as I could, but I think the game kind of alters that when I import the audio. As you guessed, the voicelines are from the movies, and although I did everything I could to make them sound clean, sometimes I simply couldn't manage to, but I thought it was better to put them in anyway than to have nothing instead. Thank you for your feedback!
