just thought I would mention it: the Jedi version of force lightning is called Force Judgement, and it's yellow, so the gold color for Palpatine's lightning is actually more accurate than you would think
I love it. I might recommend giving him a yellow lightsaber (hell why not use Rey's), and giving him Dooku's lightning (golden lightning of course), Yoda's block & Unleash ability, and Maul's spinning attack. and maybe some custom voicelines such as "We will watch your career with great interest" & "I love the republic. I love democracy." & "Let me help you to know the subtleties of the force." ya know. lines that make him seem more jedi-like. Honestly, I'd love to use this in I guess fan film type thing where somebody gets transported to a parallel universe where Palpatine was Yoda's apprentice and becomes the Grandmaster after Yoda either dies or just decides to retire.
"decides to retire" that's not how that works, Jedi don't just retire, there's no such thing for Jedi, once a Jedi always a Jedi unless they choose to leave the order, which there is no reason to do so
