first off this a purely a model weapon swap. Secondly, swapping many weapons at the same time is prone to cause desync, which DICE wants to keep at a minimum, theres a period of time when fairfight would look for changes in the weapon file and would ban those whom it detected said changes. Some my older individual weapon swaps had this problem. I give the warning for that reason.

Because if it's just purely a Model swap (which it seems to be) how would this be any different from using Trooper skins in MP which is fine?
I'm Just a little confused, What part of this mod are you warning us might get us banned?

Edit: i equipped the ion shot upgrade and now it works
