I released a revamp version of this mod that changes all the ARC Trooper appearances to be somewhat similar to this mod (best I could do with the assets I have) https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsbattlefront22017/mods/2408
The new revamp mod will be the replacement of this mod until I am able to fully realise my goals for this mod with mesh and cloth mesh importing.
The revamp version now offers the mesh importing features, so I will not update this mod anymore. For the ultimate version of this mod, check the revamped mod in the link above.
All I can say at this point is "soon". Most of the work on the update is done, but I currently don't have much time to work on it, due to real life circumstances. I think I'll release an intermediate testing version within the next couple of days, which will replace the default ARCs with the blue ARC trooper and will replace the Cobalt Hero ARCs with the red ARC captain. Note that this mod won't look exactly the same as it did before until mesh importing becomes a public feature. Till then, I will make use of the vanilla ARC assets... You'll see.
I estimate I'll be able to release the testing version within a few days. I hope you understand the delay :)
I'm still puzzling with how though, since there are now multiple ARC skins in the game. Ideally, I'd want each of the four game skins to be a different rank (so basically every variation of this mod corresponding to one of the skins, making this mod just one mod instead of four). However, there aren't enough assets for me to do that (I would need 3 pauldrons and 3 kamas more). This could theoretically be fixed with mesh importing, but that feature isn't public to all modders yet so that'll have to wait.
I'm probably going to end up just replacing the default skins for now and when I can do the mesh importing thing update the mod to include all variations. I'll probably update this mod some time after the update on the 18th.
Sadly not :/ I can't make a new pauldron asset (base pauldron with colour), so I painted the base pauldron (which is black by default), so it would have the colour I want. In the base game the other pauldrons used paint over that with their own colour, so it's no problem. I'm guessing your problem is when using this mod in combination with other mods that use the default pauldron?
I'll make it an addon file that reverts that texture instead of making all four versions without the change, though. I will post it under "optional files" here shortly.
This mod should probably be loaded after Ortho's mod (e.g. lower in the list) if it were to work. If you try it, I'd be interested to know if it works.
is it possible to put all the arc kamo and stuff on a normal trooper (like specialist) ? if it is possible can u make a version with Fordo as real arc trooper and the other blue arc as normal troopers ?

Full version will come later in the month.
Enjoy this in the meantime :)

Happy to help :)
The mod does not work in the current version.
I will update it as soon as I find the time to do so :)
The problem is that the ARC soldier is now headless ....
Like Dooku ...
At the same time, everything is fine in the main menu.
I haven't tested it myself though.

Hope it looks good combined :)

Would you want a specific legion replaced by the blue normal ARCs?
