Somehow the mod still works (I got the star tours rocket trooper) but is it MP safe? it never got updated since a year ago and all of the images have the RT-97C which got me thinking that this mod was outdated. but it works with the E-11 but I've been playing with this mod only in offline. So can you check if this mod is still MP safe?
Also if this mod is MP safe, can you update this mod because the profile picture of the rocket trooper isn't appearing, or can you redo and move this mod to the newer version of your rocket trooper overhaul mod?
A new version is in the works and should be released this week :) I might upload it as a new mod instead of as an update to this mod, due to the new models in the game and some more stuff I did.
I also made new custom shock trooper variations for the new models. I am having an issue in that the backpack texture is shared between the new models and the legacy one, which would mean you can't have the shocktrooper backpack for the legacy without it also affecting the backpack for the new models. I'll have to think about what to do with this.
Out of curiosity: would you (or others reading this) want all the Imperial jumptroopers to be somewhat uniform (for example all being a shocktrooper), or would you like to have the legacy look different to the two new ones (for example, the new ones vanilla and the legacy a shocktrooper, or vice versa)?
I think a modular approach would be best for this, though the jetpacks being shared does pose a problem unless you just don't retexture them a specific color in the group version.
I'm mostly a fan of the shock trooper skin for the legacy appearance, though I do know people like the shock trooper appearance on the new skins too.
The best and only mod for the imperial jet troopers, absolutely beautiful. I really, really love the fact you've included the TFU design (Must have been hell in blender to adjust those meshes and make it look presentable)
I don't work with Blender. I do textures in Paint.net and sometimes preview the result in Unity.
You're correct that the meshes are assymetrical (which is probably accurate to the original movie props), but (thank the creator) the textures are mostly symmetrical, so they're not hard to work with :)
i don't think is possible but a mod that change the imperial heavy or assault class into shore troopers (beach troopers you can see in rogue one ) can be god damn awesome
While I currently only know how to do textures, I will try to learn how to swap models. I know the shore troopers already exist in game files (from the campaign), so if I know how to swap models, I will look into it :)
