   How did you retexture it without it being shiny? Did you change the saturation, warmth, etc. Because when I recolor things they come out as really shiny and all oiled up

      Sounds like you're messing up the alpha layer, which is the CS texture's "smoothness/roughness" or shininess effect

      Yeah the opacity of the CS texture plays into it. If you don't make it transparent enough it ends up looking shiny or wet.

      ok gotcha, what program do u guys use to edit the CS textures. I've been using paint.NET

      I use GIMP.
