Version 1.1 - Something I've noticed since first creating this mod is that the sound will sometimes stutter or get drowned out completely when there are many sounds going on at once. I've now amplified the sound a bit and that seems to have reduced the issue, but it hasn't eliminated it completely. If anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this please let me know.
I've also uploaded an alternate version of 1.1 that also replaces the cannon sounds.

Version 1.0 - If you don't like the default Pulse Phaser beam sounds this will make them sound like they did in The Wrath of Khan. Replaces both normal beam firing and Beam Overload, I haven't replaced the cannon sounds but I may in the future.
This does not modify any actual game files because STO supports override functionality using the "localdata" folder, so this SHOULD be safe, however it IS a bit of a gray area so use at your own risk. As far as I know there have not been any official statements made about whether this type of thing is OK or not, but if I find one I will update this description immediately.
Instructions are in the included "Instructions.txt" file.
