You can find all old games: Old-Games.RU -This isofficial not piracy resource for old games (storage of games 1986-2008 contain original disk images, patches etc)
I did not realize the exe replaced the original. It is not my anti virus or C++. It just crashes to desktop with no error. The game runs normal without the mod installed.
I had this same issue on the GOG version of the game, and commenting out EAX seemed to fix it. Thanks!
While the game seemed to play fine with RS, I had some issues with loading screens going blank white with only UI elements visible, so I ended up disabling that as well.
Anyone else experiencing this? I seem to be unable to download the Main file for this mod. The update file downloads just fine but for the Main file I keep getting a 'Secure Connection Failed" message, regardless of which Server I pick.
Edit: Disregard that, I can download it on another device, so it must just be something on my main machine.
Is there anyway to use reshade with this mod? I've tried installing the reshade onto the .exe in opengl, directx9 and directx10/11/12 and it will not activate and show up unless I use the original .exe.

Find and set to zero if you got a high mouse sensitivity
seta cl_mouseAccel "0"
Es2 Launcher.exe replace original exe and make a backup of original exe on first launch
Did you see this message at first launch?
Also:
If you use deprecated Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast - add game folder to exclusion
(false positive to any code injectors)
And try install this:
Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One (Jul 2022)
[USING RS]
-or\and-
[USING EAX]
