Fully updated for 0.96a-RC8. An anime portrait pack that adds (and optionally replaces vanilla) over 1000+ portraits to the game. Portraits maintain some semblance of faction colors and style. Generated using AnythingV3 in Stable Diffusion.

Himawari Portrait Pack (and Portrait Replacer)
- Portrait Pack - The portrait pack himaport adds 1000+ anime portraits for female officers in the game.
- Vanilla Portrait Replacer - The vanilla portrait replacer himaport vanilla replacer replaces all Starsector base game portraits and characters to anime portraits.
Usage
- Download relevant files. Make sure your downloaded version aligns with the game version.
- Extract files in starsector/mods
- Enable in the mod manager of your choice.
- The portrait pack Himawari Portraits must be enabled in the mod manager to show the anime officer portraits.
- The portrait pack Himawari Vanilla Replacer must be enabled in the mod manager to replace vanilla character and portraits.
- Enable both of them to both add new officer portraits and the vanilla replacement.
- The mod does not depend on any other modification.
- This mod does not conflict with any other portrait modifications, nor does it share file names.
- This mod will not conflict with any vanilla portrait replacers.
- The mod does not depend on any other modification.
- This mod will conflict with other vanilla replacer files.
- This mod does not add nor modify any other modded faction's portraits.
Faction Support
- The scope of this project is only to add (Portrait Pack) or replace (Vanilla Replacer) base game assets.
- This portrait pack does not add or modify any additional portraits to any other modded faction.
- There is no intention to support portraits of another modded faction at this moment.
