This mod is something. But it still falls short of being great, due to the game itself, of course. The ideal would be damage in % with a minimum HP value and not just HP. A grenade on an NPC with no protection should have critical damage of 80% or lethal.
been playing with royal arena mod and noticed the grandes do absolutely no damage wanted to level my explosives skill so I threw a frag granade right between the feet of a 100-lvl spacer who did not bother to run from it and it did no damage at all so how am I supposed to level my explosive skill ;o]] maybe on some critters but all are 100+ level now so probably won't be that easy as well unless I make the grenades more potent
honestly I feel this mod might not be enough to actually kill someone but it's better than nothing, would be cool to have even more potent version personally I almost never use grenades, maybe occassionally as a distraction rather than actual damage dealer still they should be at least somewhat realistic, no enemy should come out from a 1 feet grenade explosion with no harm unless it has heavy armor
I just tested it and it does at least little damage now but still pathetic (I have 1 point in demolitions as I can't really level it up more) frag granade from 1m can't even kill a downed common spacer who has maybe 10% health (it nearly killed him so it did maybe 8%) think I would need a 10x version to be at least somewhat realistic ;o]
any chance to make it dynamic and based on player level? for example player level times 40 so on level 100 it would do 4000 damage (before armor reduction) that might work for ppl who use levelled enemies modz
even with this mod I can only kill xenogrubs with my grenades to level up the demolitions skill ;o]] EDIT: realized that explosive rounds in guns also level the demolition skill
Love this, makes grenades usable. Any chance of like a %1000 damage increase version? Or something silly like that? I kinda sucks throwing a nade into like a pack of 200+ enemies and they just laugh it off.
Many times when I try to throw a grenade in the middle of combat, there is a 1 or 2 second animation delay before I begin throwing the grenade. Is there a way to remove this delay so that the grenade throw always happens immediately once I click the button to throw, just as if I was standing still to throw?
Nice mod, thank you. But maybe we need a "light version", with 200 damage of normal greaneds or so, or i kill "strong" crimsone captain with one grenade (((

I'm playing with leveled enemies mod and the grenades do next to zero dmg to high lvl enemies.
