6/6/2024 63OR63 has added an optional Voice file for this mod which removes the robotic sound. I would like to thank him for his work, I know creating those files are incredibly difficult.
If you aren't starting a new game this is very important.
When you start Vasco will be in a T Pose, you'll need to do the following.

Solution to fix the issue is not taking Vasco along when capturing ships. Before capturing a ship simply unassign her before you sit and reassign her after.

I'm a noob - never creatd any mod - so bear with me... About the mouth not moving. I saw people saying it's because there are no lip moving files for vasco's dialogue BUT.... I'm just asking out of curiosity: is it that, or is it because vasco is considered male and we are using female face on vasco? This question comes because i have swapped Linn's face with Estelle's and lips move perfectly fine, but when i gave Sam Estelle's face, his lips dont move at all. !!!!LITERALLY just tried switching his face into a male and lips move!!!!!
And no. The SexChange console command doesnt work. Only changes visuals just like Enhance!. Would need to change something in inis or stuff like that...
I know what you mean. I created a lip sync guide. It's on Nexus. But yes, gender does matter when it comes to the voice type. An annoyance in the least. How to change the sex? I'm certain there is a way to do this in CK. I'm still learning. So much to learn. It is a beast of a tool when you are able to use it properly.
So will there be a Lipsynch patch fo this or how can I do it myself? I dont think I can just open the mod and start working with whatever files I find there?
EDIT: I found a way to make make it work, but it only finds 918 "conversations", two of it throw an error but the rest seems to work. What it not converst is mostly (all) the spoken names, but there must also be normal conversations left out, becaus there are 1014 conversation files.
I dont think you need lipsync, just to find a way to change an NPC gender internally in the game files... somewhere in those files it says who's a male and who's a female and if we can change that setting, maybe female vasco's lips will move. i see vasco lilly doing all the face expressions, except lipsync lol
Found a workaround for the no dialog face animations. Manually downloaded female version of the Vasco Old Cyborg mod and used Bethesda archive extractor to pull the .ffxanim files from that mod and place them in the Data\sound\voice\starfield.esm\robotmodelavasco folder. I like this mod better than that one so this works out. Looks a little odd but its fine.
Any reviews of this? Anyone used it? It sounds cool but I’m concerned it’s a novelty and probably won’t be very immersive. She’s not going to need or wear a space suit right? Can you equip one on her? Can you change her clothes? Her appearance? Does she fight like a human? Does she ride in the back of the Rev-8? I guess you never see her onboard your ship just like the regular Vasco? I guess she rides in the bay? Does that make sense? Is it worth trying this?
personally i dont want to play without it lol and no she hangs out in the ship like other humanoids and wears whatever armor i assign her when i do so far

Vasco Female Conversion works perfectly for me and it's plugin 34 of 89.
It needs to be after other Companion mods not at the end. Load it after mods like "Gangs all Here", "Amazing Follower Tweaks" and "Crew Skill Overhaul".
You absolutely want to load NPC AI changes after [Vasco Female Conversion] so she gets the AI changes. Load things like "Improved Follower Behavior" and Aggressive NPC mods after Female Vasco.

1. Click on Vasco make sure her ref is selected.
2. Open command console ~
3. Then type recycleactor
4. Next type resurrect actor
5. Use moveto player if recycleactor causes Vasco to disappear or use the mod below to teleport your companions.
