I see in your notes that there is no January. This also happened in Morrowind where Morning Star(January) was absent in the game. This was because they set the month values as 0-11, but when the counter ticked over from 11 it reset to 1 instead of 0. This skipping Morning Star.
Maybe this will help with this mod. This issue was fixed in the Morrowind Code Patch.
Edit: I will also add that the Unofficial Morrowind Patch fixed this issue as well without a code change. They used a script to change the month to the first month when a new year is reach.

BUG New years start on the second month instead of the first.
FIX Create a global script to change to the first month when a new year is reached
Created LtM_MonthFixScript script
Created LtM_MonthFixActiv Activator and LtM_MonthFixActivScript script
Placed LtM_MonthFixActiv Activator in Imperial Prison Ship cell
I don’t know. I haven’t. I’m not sure if it’s necessarily a bug, or if it’s a disregard for continuity because the date was never supposed to be exposed to the player anyway. Very few systems actually use the date globals.
It’s odd to me that the date isn’t shown, even if just for worldbuilding and immersion, given that previous BGS games have included it.
I know that Starfield is essentially built on top of the core of Fallout 4, so - feasibly - a working, consistent date system should have existed at some point. Perhaps in building the dynamic, simulated universe they had to compromise on the way the passage of time works (in some way, for some reason, pfft I don’t know…) and January just slipped through the cracks, but it was never noticed because the date isn’t shown.
Thank you for your work!! There's such a lack of good, honest, thoughtful Starfield coverage on YouTube, I think your weekly news videos are pretty great!
Sorry, I haven't figured out anything new. I don't know what the problem could be, and without an Xbox I have no way to try to troubleshoot this myself. The mod has 95 likes from Xbox users, so it seems to work for some people, but not others. The best I can recommend is to try removing the mod, installing it fresh, changing its position in your load order, or most importantly, running the mod on a clean, un-modded save and see if it works then.
I have noticed that none of the mods that make use of the Gameplay Settings menu seem to be working on XBox. In addition to this mod, I also haven't been able to get the Dynamic Medical Bill, Dynamic Repair Bill, or Remove XP Modifier From Gameplay Options mods to work on XBox. I have heard other XBox players report the same. The new options show up in the menu (as with your mod), but they don't actually get applied in-game.
I did a quick scan and I can't see if anyone's mentioned this but I've played a couple years UT now and I've noticed something - January doesn't exist.
When I sleep for a day UT right at the end of December it ticks over to 1st Feb, not 1st Jan. This also means the years only have 341 days.
I'm assuming this is more Beth weirdness and is not from the mod, but I'd be curious if anyone else has had the opportunity to verify. If we can verify it might be something to add to your comments on the main page.
😭Noooo, it's true!! Thank you for pointing this out! This mod just reads out whatever the global variables are, so, yes, this is Beth weirdness. I wonder why it is this way, though, given they've have working full calendars in previous games!?
Timescale used to determine how quickly time passed ingame in Fallout 4 and Skyrim....now it's used to ensure accurate orbits of planets....so they hid it from players who just wasted 4 days sleeping one hour on a fast moon. Also why no survival mechanics....you'd die in seconds.
I didn't even know I needed this mod until I found it, thank you. If you're up for requests, could you also have the date show every time you reload a save?

Anyways, hopefully that information helps.

Thank you for your mod and update.
What do you think about saying the #universe with the date ?
This could be nice to keep in mind for a starborn do you think ?
