IMPORTANT !!! ------------------------------ Starfield update 1.11.33 (15.05.2024.) changed ALL meshes inside the game. This means that 700 000 meshes (files) are changed and ALL mods that use ANY of those meshes will now be INVISIBLE. It also means that 4 months of my hard work is gone after this update. Weapons/armors/ship parts/ship weapons will no longer work after this update. They will be invisible because game cannot read old meshes.
Updating all mods would need me to manually replace each weapon/armor/ship part. Extract->rename->locate->etc etc..
In translation this means I would manually need to update thousands and thousands of files. One weapon has around 50 meshes, ship parts have A TON more. It would be easier to go from scratch than updating, so you get the feel how big of a problem this is..
I know there is a tool in development that should help with transfering those files, but it is all experimental and I need to see how it works etc.
THINGS GOING FORWARD:
ALL OF MY MODS WILL STAY ONLINE! I will leave all my work as it is, because there is a lot of people who downgrade Steam versions and prefer mods over updates. So do not have fear I will remove mods or anything like that!
I WILL TRY TO UPDATE AT LEAST SOME OF THE MODS Obviously, you cannot expect me to update thousand files manually. It is too much time consuming. But I will try to go one small step at a time, update 1-2 weapons, see how it goes, how hard it is, and then proceed adequately.
I hope it was worth it for them to edit 700k files, I really hope it will improve the game!
GO TO THAT LOCATION, you will see STARFIELD EXE, INI FILES ETC... YOU NEED TO COPY PASTE THOSE FILES INTO MAIN DIRECTORY AND OVERWRITE ALL!!!
AFTER YOU DID THAT YOUR GAME WILL BE IN OLDER VERSION. YOU ALSO NEED STARFIELD SCRIPT EXTENDER FOR THAT VERSION YOU DOWNGRADED TO!
HERE ARE ALL FILES FOR DIFFERENT STARFIELD VERSIONS REGARDING STARFIELD SCRIPT EXTENDER !!! https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/106?tab=files

3. Enter the command: "download_depot 1716740 1716741 4597974351179844399 "
As you can see from the link, 4597974351179844399 is a code for 19.march update and manifest ID, you can see date on the left.
it has dll files and ini files as shown on link, after it says downloaded, go to the folder location that is below, and copy paste those files into MAIN STARFIELD DIRECTORY.
That should be it...
Thanks everyone for these months of support, and see you in next mods when I figure all this out!
Thanks for the MOD, generally love the guns. But, could you do a set with the brightness of the text and other lighting on the guns significantly subdued. It is a bit immersion breaking to have weapons supposedly for special forces announce themselves while sneaking with blindingly bright lights on them. Literally blinding. The names on the weapons are so bright that in darker areas, they wash out detail in the player FOV.
agreed. the lighting (and the words being there in general) is literally so ugly and pointless. ruins the guns. inquisitor should seriously remove it. or at least make it modifiable. such a terrible design choice.
Another success I have started a new playthrough using the special forces mods, would you consider making a fatigue-style outfit similar in style to UC fatigues for the character to wear? keep up the excellent work you are rocking modding Starfield
These Weapons are fantastic. They are not much stronger and actually they are pretty much equal to the top five vanilla weapons like the Va Ruun Inquisitor, Magsniper, or the ones you get fighting the Emissary or else (updated with all correct attachments). Those are meant to be strong. Its role play. I play at very hard, and if you go the higher systems you are in for dog fights....and next week survival mode goes live ...

Enjoy!
Thanks!
I built 5x "The Devils Paintbrush", all of them have the correct name, but 2 were given the look of Beo Wulf.
And these weapons are too strong for me anyway
Cheers
I definitely won't be redoing all of my mods with Vortex just because of these weapons.
They're overpowered for me anyway
Enjoy!
Actually not, one of my friends wanted them to be this way!
