About this mod:
An SFSE plugin that lets Vasco say the Player's name in localized game versions. In vanilla, this ability is disabled even if the Player has a supported name.
Compatibility:
It is a simple code patch, it should be compatible with any mods (including new Player names, custom translations and so on).

I personally have the English version, just read in the Nexus forums recently that localized game versions don't allow Vasco to say the Player's name. So, I decided to decode the relevant game code and make an SFSE plugin for people who are affected by this limitation.
I'm aware there's already a mod for this, please, no need let me know about this in comments. (The two work enterely differently by the way).
I don't know if voice lines for "Captain" were recorded in other languages to be honest, the interface will display this word correctly though.
