I am getting a lot of crossfire POI markers that don’t seem to clear anymore. The starmap is getting quite cluttered. On the latest game version, I have watchtower installed as well. Load order problem? Thank you for the mod.
Thanks for your work with this. I recently had an interaction between this mod and a quest mod I'm working on and want to confirm if it's intended behavior.
My quest mod adds a new space cell, and has the LocTypeSENotAllowed keyword, which from my understanding is supposed to prevent random space encounters from happening. However, when testing it with this mod installed, I got a debris field with a Spacesuit Shipment, on top of everything else added by my quest.
After looking at this mod in xEdit, it looks like this was caused by the Lost Unmarked Shipment quest. Is it intended behavior for this mod to ignore the LocTypeSENotAllowed keyword, and add encounters to cells that wouldn't normally have them? If so, no worries, I will just have to make a disclaimer about compatibility when I publish my mod
Not sure if its intentional, but I started a new character and upon getting to jemison on my first visit I was attacked by a ship from The First, and wasnt even being assisted by the ships on orbit. I could go on about how this is wrong on a bunch of ways but I wanted to ask if its intentional by design or a bug. Im on xbox.
RTFP is not needed and that mod has not been updated to the current game version. If you install RTFP into the current version of the game, you will get a pop up notice at game start up stating that the .dll is not compatible with the current version of the game. The mod author for RTFP has been MIA from his discord and his status is unknown.
according to the requirements, this mod requires Real Time Form Patcher which at time of writing isn't compatible with Starfield 1.15.256.
So I’m assuming this will break for anyone who has updated? There appears to be a conflicting post by the mod author implying RTFP is not required in the current version, but this is not mentioned in the change logs.. confused :/
If anyone has tried this with 1.15.256 please post results
I'm using the Creations Club version without a problem. I'm not certain if there's a difference between the Nexus and Creations versions. They don't seem to allow anything on Creations that requires SFSE or any associated mods like Address Library or Real Time Form Patcher. If in doubt, just download the Creations version. It's free.
I can verify that BOTH this version on nexusmods and the creation neither require Real Time Form Patcher .. I have ask the Mod Author to remove the Requirement.
I've read a lot of past reports about how this mod is supposedly "unstable" and how the new space POIs "are permanent and don't go away."
So I tested it. I used Crossfire with only 2 other mods, the Community Patch and SKK Fast Start. And I went to a bunch of different POIs in the same system.
Can confirm the mod works fine. The new space POIs disappear when you gravjump to another system. If anyone is still experiencing the bug of POIs not disappearing, then it's most likely a conflict with another mod in your load order. Or it's a vanilla bug that's been addressed by Community Patch.
I'm playing without the community patch and still have space encounter icons that don't go away. Even tried going to Venus and sleep there for 24 hours. Icons persisted.
Wats the point in having just 2 mods installed? Stock Bethesda games suck pretty hard. I have 86 esm in my load order (seems good enough to add ton of new possibilities) anyway du_xfire.esm is loaded at position 80 after that go only patches and i do get permanent pio unfortunately. Still this mod is a must im my load order
The point was eliminating variables to guarantee that this mod is not inherently unstable. So without knowing which other potential mod or combination of mods are creating conflicts in some people's games, it is impossible for this mod author to make any fixes.
why don't you try it out? It either crashes or works. Literally 3 mins effort. As for myself, I have been enjoying both of them for an entire month without waiting for anything.

"Faction Skirmish, Tides Turning
You travel into a fight in progress, two factions are in the middle of a battle.
One faction calls for backup."
Let's say the Crimson Fleet calls for backup and I do it, will I get friendly with the CF?

I'll hopefully get around to making the missions respect the notallowed keywords
Lorewise he just got lost
This is, in my opinion, a Must Have Mod, as is the Dark Universe Series. Remember to endorse.
