Do these patches need updating with the recent update for the game? I noticed that Kryozet has updated most/all their mods, so I'm unsure as to how/if that effects these patches - especially since I'm holding off playing the game until all of the mods I use have updated.

I am not sure. I don't run those mods, or these patches, myself. I'll check into it this weekend. You can always try and see if they load. The graphic break for mods that was caused by the update did not appear to affect clothing/armor mods that use new graphics, like KryoZet's. He doesn't update often, so I'm sure he just made a few tweaks. Though... that itself might break the patches. Like I said, I'll check it out this weekend.

So when I install this file, all other mods are also installed? I have in mind installed your file with your preferred Kyro's mods. But Vortex installation warns me to make sure I have installed all Kyro's mods, so I don't understand why your file "includes" a patch for his mods...

Really outstanding work on all of the Darkstar mods, and like you I am a big fan of Kyro's work as well.

Question - while the Graviton boost pack is craftable at the Darkstar amour toolbox, it does not have the same "Darkstar" atributes the helmets or spacesuit has. You cannot set the quality of the boostpack, and more importantly, you cannot and the amazing Darkstar booster.  Is this intentional?

Also, the helmets and spacesuit lining is locked and cannot be modified, but the Darkstar quality level can be modified. Is that also intentional?

Please keep up the amazing work dude - my questions are not end of the world kind of stuff.

I need to update the patch. Boost packs changed structure in darkstar manufacturing and I've been derailed a bit, never got back to the patch. Hopefully I have time to update it tonight after work.

      Cheers

      Well - sortof.

The Darkstar quality level on the graviton pack now shows up and can be changed. 👍

However, slots 1,2,  and the boostpack are locked, so they can't be changed. I tried creating a new pack and had the same issue.  The legendary slots can still be changed as before.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

    Hi,
Could someone explain how the Plugins.txt Enabler determines load order? I've downloaded an Outfits mod, the Darkstar mod, and their corresponding patch. The Outfits mod works, but I can't see the outfit in the workbench.
I'm using GamePass and have fulfilled all the requirements for it.
Can anyone offer assistance with this?

1 - Make sure you've installed the correct version of DarkStar Manufacturing. It can be installed Standalone, or as a dependency of DarkStar Astrodynamics (which adds many more features). If you chose the version that depends on DarkStar Astrodynamics, you'll need to install that mod too.

      2 - Load order:

      • DarkStar Astrodynamics (if using)
      • DarkStar Manufacturing
      • <outfit mods from KryoZet>
      • The Patch(es)

Usually when people say they can't get something DarkStar Manufacturing to show up in game, it's because they installed the version that requires Astrodynamics but didn't install Astrodynamics.

You mean POI's and such? Those are the most frustratingly organized parts of Starfield while stuck in xEdit. Most of them can't be overridden properly, because they fail to clone over to a new ESM due to poor structure, and tons of REFL (reflection... a programming tactic that xEdit can't decipher yet).

I have a strong motivation to overhaul POI's though... and enemy level scaling game-wide. I feel like the Royal Galaxy mod compilation has me beat in that area, so far. But, I'll probably dive in eventually. lol.

I may look into that later. I don't use them currently. Anyone else is welcome to do so, though. There is a script listed on DarkStar Manufacturing as an optional file, with instructions at the top of the script file. It's the script I used to produce all these patch files in about 2 hours (including testing every piece of gear).
