Just got this today, love it and your other display mods as well! They have totally created amazing new decorating options for my ships and homes/outposts - really changed my game in a great way!!! I'd send you a donation if there were a means to do so! Well done!
1. how do i attach knifes to the hexagon shape? how does it work for attaching different categories to a certain shape? >> e.g. all i can chose from my inventory is handgun - when interacting with the hexagon shape.
2. how can i rotate weapons, as provided in your image no.13? >> I do not have a 'rotation' option for weapons.
Hi, I don't know how else to explain this as I feel like I have already done so below.
You DO NOT rotate the weapons and you WILL NOT see any rotation options, the different weapon mounts store them in different configurations automatically.
The weapon mounts merely act like any other container, you interact with them exactly the same way and yes you should be able to see ALL weapon types, Melee, Rifle, Shotgun, Heavy and Pistol.
Are you sure you are using MY mod with MY mounts and not the Vanilla mounts ? My mod DOES NOT alter the vanilla mounts, it ADDS improved mounts with extra functionality. Make sure you have installed the latest version of Weapon Displays Enhanced and you will see mine have a blue and yellow icon with a big "WD" on it.
I have got nearly 3000 downloads of this mod and no one else has said they are having any problems with it, I am sorry that you are finding it difficult but as I suggested in my last message to you, disable ALL your mods, start a brand new game, enable only this mod and see if it works for you, if it does, start enabling your other mods 3-4 at a time until it breaks, you will then find which mod is conflicting with mine.
Don't know why and how, but weapon display now is showing in my builder category. before that, i used to use the generic version which i thought is your mod. probably an already inbuild vanilla or Star UI Outpost / version, no clue.
CAPS doesn't solve a thing. A bit of patience is kind of more helpful & useful. Sure, u come across lots of impatient folks, just not all of them are illiterate and i do understand, that you can't solve mod conflicts as your load order as well differs.
Hey mate, thanks for the update, I'm pleased you sorted it out and it's working for you. I admit I got a bit defensive when you initially said my mod has an issue, which IMO was unjustified without proper problem solving on your part. A lot of users immediately blame the mod and never consider the problem is most likely on there PC. Anyway you stuck with it and got it working.
your latest v. causes Starfield v. 12.36 to crash. When installing the prior version of this mod, everything is ok.

Hi, all weapons are mountable on all mounts, different shapes have different rotations, ie hexagonal mounts are up, trapezoid are left and right. Each mount has two variants. They are just containers and interact the same as any other container. I am not able to reproduce the issues you are having, and no one else has posted on here to say they are not working. Might I suggest you are having some sort of mod conflict? Have you tried with a brand new game and only using my mod to see if it's working?
bout the mod, can't tell and actually not having any similar building mod that should cause a problem. the previous version of this mod is functioning as normal, this one (lates version) however is off and is always causing a CTD when starting SF.
"different shapes have different rotations" i can rotate em all in a vertical but not rotate em circular (clock & counter-clock wise) and weapons have only one direction. further, e.g. i want to add a knife to a hex-shape, but wen interacting with the hex (R) all i can choose from my inventory is a handgun. The Triangle also allows only handguns and the larger shape allows only rifles and/or swords or knifes. I could not figure out how to attach a sword or knife to a stand (in this case i tried the stands for hat, backpack) but to no avail.
Thank you for making all these great mods, I consider these essential for my ships & outposts. by chance could you add in a few other variations of weapon displays? I got some ideas:
the plugin enabler says it is deprecated because of a update that happened apparently that does what it did from the plugin page - Notice: The Starfield update released on June 9th, 2024 (1.12.30) has rendered this mod pointless. There is no need to install it. You can safely remove old versions.
Hey all, just a note. The Weapon Display Case Tilted Left, is a WIP! I mistakenly left it in there when releasing 1.1. I am still working on it, the melee weapons don't align correctly as yet but guns do. I may remove it in future updates if I cannot get it right, use it at your own risk.
It's one of the Outpost mods that adds unselectable vanilla items to the builder, let me check. I was contemplating adding those 'dividers' into my mod for use with the wall displays.

"Outpost Construction Expanded (Even More Outpost Objects)" contains the dividers, its under furniture > dividers.
Yes I can look into that, which display unit are you thinking, the one that holds 9 items (3 tiers of 3) ?
