Update: Nexus mods took down my Star Trek Main Menu Music mod, which is super weird considering that there are multiple Star Trek Music replacer mods for other games still uploaded here dating back almost ten years.
I guess the moderators didn't have faith of their hearts after all
No lol that was another mod I uploaded 😂 the music should work in this one, it does in mine at least. Try the things I wrote in other comments, I had some trouble getting custom music to work as well
@drunkenkhiin - I think the issue for some is the 4k package doesn't contain the Data/sound/soundbanks/ folder so the 4k.zip requires you to install the music from the main file. You state that, but I think a lot of people aren't reading that.
FWIW, I had to put the Data/sound/soundbanks/* in my My Documents/My Games/Starfield/Data/Sound/Soundbanks to make it work on Gamepass. I still required the StarfieldCustom.ini though.
I think im confused about the the StarfieldCustom.ini? I made a text document with the [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= in it. I put it in My Documents/My Games/Starfield.
I installed it on a clean freh install. First the mod works. But the musik is doubled, the first start when the bethesda logo apears and teh second loop starts wenn the mainmenü appear
This HAD been working for like, 100 hours of gameplay! And then, me having done nothing, it stopped working some time this week.
What the flippin' heck, Bethesda.
Well, the 4k video works, and it's very pretty. I'd try some of these methods, but I've been using Baka Disable My Games Folder (for most of those same 100 hours) and I don't want to muck around with files in my Windows drive . . . so, I'm lost.
From what I can understand its what Bethesda and a lot of other devs use for soundbanks and its free to use unless you need to publish something that ypu wanna earn credits from
Sorry to bother you again but I finally was able to install the program, I followed the tutorial and have created my wem file and placed it in the sound banks folder, but the audio isn't playing.
I just cant get this to work, ived reinstalled many times and followed the instructions by adding "[Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=" should there be a number after the last =??

Maybe it will magically start working again.
One small issue I'm not sure how to fix: The song doesn't loop, it only plays once. Is this a known issue with Starfield main menu mods?
