Thanks for this mod. But the chin beard (all the way on the left on the title image) went missing a few versions ago. Can we get it back?

I've tried everything I can think of and even the suggestions made by others in these comments to get these to show up but they never show up. I don't have any mods that would interfere with these and I have the required mods, I followed the instructions to the T, but I don't know whats going on, neither these or your hair mods work with my game, and they never have.

Have you tried download the ini file on nexus? at least that what solved the problem for me.
Also the hair and beard mod is now on bethesda creation.

im not sure what ini file youre talking about but i do have my own custom ini so that should not be the problem. the creations mod works 100%, but i couldn't ever get these ones to work no matter what i tried, and before i downloaded the creations specific version, these versions showed up in the load order that shows up on creations, but they'd never show up in game.

Sorry, but none of these beards appear for male characters no matter how many times I reinstall this mod. The same goes for hairstyle mods.

I've also had trouble getting both the hairstyles and beard mod on Gamepass PC to work but recently found success. If you are still in a similar situation, here are things I did but have yet to test which or if single one is the cause of the fix however it was related to my installation of Real Time Form Patcher (https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/8324):

      • Added dinput8.dll and wininet.dll from https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader to the Content folder.
      • Added the following to my StarfieldCustom.ini
      [General]
      sIntroSequence=
      uMainMenuDelayBeforeAllowSkip=0

      • Created a Plugins folder in my Content folder. When I did this, I also deployed my mods in Vortex and the program added a Data/SFSE/Plugins folder in my new Plugins folder.
      • Moved the RTFP mod file contents to the Plugins folder without the SFSE folder.
      • Renamed the RealTimeFormPatcher.dll files to RealTimeFormPatcher.asi
      • Also copied the Address Library file "versionlib-1-11-36-0-1.bin" to the Plugins folder.

      Hope this helps!

So, im a "mod it til it breaks and mod it again" kinda guy. Im now on my like 7th "remodding" of Starfield, and every single run has been met with failure regarding getting this mod to work. I have tried every trick I can think of, along with the proper things to do.

Any one else having this mod simply not work? I NEED BEARDS!!!

EDIT: Nevermind, I've finally figured it out. Thank you again!

    ---------------------------------------

I've donwloaded both this and the hairstyle mod, but had to remove them because they don't appear ingame. Not complaining at all, it has to be my fault for sure since english is not my mother lang and it's totally sure I'm missing something, so I'm just asking if someone could point me to a install tutorial for dummies cos I've followed the install steps a couple of times but didn't worked for me.

I've updated the game and I'm using Plugins.txt and I know how it works, but it's my first time with "Real Time Form Patcher" so I think it has to do with it. Do I have to rename any file or move something to any folder or create some line in any particular ini file?

Thanks in advance, and thanks to Zone79 for this amazing mods.

I too would like to know how you figured it out. I'm not new to using mods, and I followed the instructions to the letter, but neither the hairstyles nor the beards are showing up for me. Other mods are working, including baka achievement enabler, but mods that add items aren't. I've followed every tutorial, and seemingly tried everything. Got the StarfieldCustom.ini with the appropriate lines, plugin.txt with the appropriate lines, etc. Not familiar with RTFP myself, so I'm not sure if there's anything special I need to be doing with it, aside from just dropping it in the Starfield folder it tells me to.

I simply put the TXT file in WhereverYouHaveInstalledTheGame\Data\SFSE\Plugins\RealTimeFormPatcher, and then Geometries, Texture, Meshes and Materials in Documents\My Games\Starfield.

Thank you for making this mod. Beard mods are typically the first thing I look for and continue to seek until a level of variety like yours come around.

Hoe do I get the beards to show up though? I installed via Vortex, I also tried the manual route. I still only have the 20 default facial hair options. I've tried both at Enhance and using the console command. Also tried moving it to varying placing in load order including first and last. I installed mid playthrough. I'm on NG+ six I think (Guardian ship VI and powers VII).

It just occurred to me to check if maybe there's a conflict with the HD 4K beards mod. I'll edit this post if that works.
Edit: It did not work. So no idea how to access those luscious beards
