There are multiple landing areas that would benefit from this mod. I.E. Jemison as there are several larger pads a little farther out from the one you land on. The other locations would be MUCH better as your ship approaches the 40m mark
You mean Landing Pad B in the New Atlantis Spaceport? While yes it's bigger, I think moving the landing pad to that area would be in conflict with the UC Security questline where you have to investigate a ship that just landed. It will land in Landing Pad B, so if your active landing pad is moved to that area, then it would clip and overlap with the ship coming from that quest.
you can in fact swap the places of npc ships and player ships, it wont interfere with any quests, since i had to manually give myself a "supply waggoner farms with nutrient" mission to test the cargo link and the other landing pad.

I would be careful with that for now. Firstly, don't forget that the Vanguard quest (Terrormorph attack) takes place there. And then there's a problem in Vanilla that blocks the progress of “The best there is”. This happens when the UC smuggling quest of Sgt. Yumi is on standby (quest stage 0 but already prepared) and the player starts “The best there is” and is supposed to enter the Jade Swan. Both quests seem to be fighting over landing pad B and neither of the ships (Anansi and Jade Swan) spawn on pad B. This vanilla bug is still unresolved.
You mentioned farmy stuff for possible expansions, how about a farm shop? It seems such an obvious, possible, source of potatoes to give to the ECS Constant.
I recently just got the game on steam (i was modding on the xbox pc ver of the game lol) and now can use the creation kit so expect to maybe see an update sometime soon
The HBI Breakable Packaged Food Mod is useful in sourcing the the elusive 50 Potatoes for the ECS Constant, you get 6 Potatoes per box, boxed, it's available on Nexus( and XBOX, luckily for me :)

Edit. I do like the idea of a Farm Shop, varied options to source items are always appreciated, especially when taking into account who your character is during that playthrough.
Another one is the landing pad for the rangers quest where you land at the Factory. if I'm on a super small ship, my ship will land there, but anything bigger (even still well below 80m) wont land there even though the pad is large enough.
now if only this can be applied to several other landing spots. Gagarin would be one as that spot cant fit 40m ships but the other pad has a transport landing on it.
This was annoying but obviously not a game stopper, along with things like floating rocks and furniture. I'll use this until it's fixed unless I run out of mod slots :)
Still, I hope the community patch moves the landing location eventually!
