Hi Deebz96! Thank you for all your work on this mod! I had a question/request I was hoping you could assist with if available.
In Vanilla, it appears the hide functionality will not activate if the apparrel slot is blank, regardless of the auto-hide option. Would it be possible to get a version of this mod where the auto-hide will hide the suit even if the apparrel slot is blank?
I just realized I had this. My helmet would stay on my head despite being in breathable, and it was toggled to hide. Turns out you are right - nothing in the outfit slot = wear a helmet no matter what! Why, Bethesda? Oh, that's right. The reason is simply "Bethesda". Hopefully someone can figure it out! lol
I loved this mod, it was exactly what I was looking for. It was working without fail and just stopped working today. When I leave breathable atmosphere, my suit and helmet stays hidden. If I tap "T" in the inventory it will re-appear, but not automatically like it was. I haven't changed anything, not sure what happened.
I figured it was something like that. I have seen the bug before installing this mod. It's not a game ender just inconvenient. Hopefully it will sort itself out like some of the users have commented. I will follow up if that is the case.
Edit: And that is exactly what happened a couple of airlocks later and all is back to normal. Apologize for the small panic, this mod so simple but so perfect.
Can't get the mod to work, installed with vortex, plugins.txt enabler installed, game luanched with script extender. What am I doing wrong? and yes, I have enabled autohide for helmet and suit.
This is such a nice little upgrade to the base game system. Was getting pretty tired of taking off my spacesuit every time I got on my ship. My character couldn't even relax, for crying out loud XD.
So the hiding of the helmet seems to work, but my spacesuit doesn't seem to on my home ship or breathable planets? I have apparel on underneath so it's not that. Installed the standard version with Vortex.
Vanilla is already kinda borked sometimes, there is a chance that sometimes you don't have the space suit on or the helmet on visually. The mod worked while being inside the ship, it removed the suit. But outside I get this result at the moment, no idea if was because of the mod or not, after removing the mod still the same, though as in vanilla I get the same result sometimes when exploring around. So I'm gonna assume I got unlucky at the moment, will see if it fixes itself. edit: after using an airlock, it fixed itself thankfully.

If so, you have a mod conflict or didn’t install this one right.
