I'm investigating why some people are unable to strip/loot certain gear like boostpacks from some enemies. It could be related to Zone79's armor mods as they have more modular items for Spacers, Pirates, and Varuun - but I haven't encountered issues in my own gameplay.
I will work on a fix in next update - please do not bother armor mod authors like Zone79 - it is not a problem with their mod.
Pls make this compatible with gorefield mod, which adds gore to the npc body. Whenever I dismembered enemy NPCs and stripped them, their bodies just returned to their fully original, undamaged, naked.
Hello friendo, still working as advertised, with the recent/new Starfield Update 1.15.216! o7 (Steam / Manual installation)

anyone know how to get starfield mods to work? ive downloaded the SFSE, Ive enabled modding in my customini. Im just lost at this moment, it feels so much harder than modding fallout 4. this is the only mod ive downloaded, and its not working for me.
None of the things that you mentioned are necessary with this mod. Just unzip the mod file to your game Data folder and enable it in the in-game Creations menu, similar to how you would enable mods in Fallout 4.
You can also Enable mods via the 'plugins.txt' file (like in Fallout 4 as well), if you don't want to use the in-game Creations Load Order method.
Plugins.txt file is located in: "C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Starfield"(Reminder that it is set to Hidden by Windows default.)
And again, like in Fallout 4, to Enable a mod, add the ESM file name (including the .esm extension) that comes with the downloaded archive, and you also add an asterisk in front of the ESM file name. (i.e. *Shades_Immersive_Looting.esm) Adding the asterisk Enables the mod, while leaving the asterisk out will keep the mod Disabled, in case you want it installed but don't want it enabled as of yet.
If the Plugins.txt file does not exist, simply create one, using any text editor (i.e. Notepad, Notepade++, etc.)

Or you can also use mod managers like Vortex or MO2 (Mod Organizer 2), to install and enable mods (I prefer Manual method myself).
If you're used to modding Fallout 4, then Starfield will be easy, as they are pretty much identical in how you install and enable mods, in terms of methodology, and even in folder structures (sort of/somewhat, give or take), hehe. :)
You're either having an installation error, and/or mod conflicts, and/or game version vs mods versions conflicts, and/or old outdated mods no longer compatible with current/latest game version (or what ever game version you're using) causing errors/conflicts, and/or your mod manager (if you're using any, like Vortex or MO2) is causing installation/uninstallation errors/conflicts (which they are known to do periodically).
To be honest, I haven't played this game in quite a while (but I still check for mod updates regularly), but I'm super stoked to check out the new update Beth just dropped (Starfield Update 1.15.216), finally getting native support for ultra-widescreen monitors, hhnngg! ♥ :D But of course, gonna wait a while before I update my game, so mod authors get a chance to update their mods, if needed.
EDIT: Booooo Beth, booooo...their so called "native ultrawide support" is only for gameplay--does not support/fix menus and other things for ultrawide, blargh.
i've a question: if i disabled stripping, enabling loot all button, should not take the quipped armor, but just all the loot in one click. is it right? is there any possibilities-patch to do that?

Massive updates to the mod description, including Known Issues and FAQ - please check those sections before asking questions here.
Thank you to everyone who has helped to identify issues and helped each other out - people like you make all this effort worthwhile!
