The part of the script that removes the wait has already ran if the quest is already running, so you'll have to go to your ship and wait as normal to complete the currently running quest. When you finish the run after that, you should be able to do it again without waiting.
i tried that just to be sure but it didn't work. also i copied the content of data in the zip to the game data is this the correct way to do this? or should i install vortex?
Sorry, I actually don't know. I use Mod Organizer 2 and have never installed any Starfield mod manually. I think there are 2 different places it can be installed, one is under Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data and the other is SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data, but again, I've never done it manually.
Much appreciated, ill try it with Mod Organizer 2, i was avoiding installing a mod manager for just one mod but i think its unavoidable. ill post again if i figure it out. thanks.
There is something you can try when installing manually that I just remembered. You need to enable loose files. Most mod managers do this for you so I had forgotten about it.
Edit: i tried creating the StarfieldCustom.ini file, this didn't work for the manual install. one thing i didn't try is placing it in the document data file, i didn't know that existed until you pointed it out.
Now that you have one mod installed and working, you'll find others. Eventually, you won't be able to play without mods... lol. MO2 is pretty easy to use too.
you're not wrong lol. i've used mods before but i didn't find any mods for starfield that grabbed me. but now that i have MO2 installed i cant help not to look for mods.
