Mod Working and perks, traits, factions have been restored in Version 3.1 The 3.1 update should fix some things that you may not have even noticed, like repeating dialogue loops. Had to revert back to full esm, and I won't be making an esl again until xEdit can properly manage those files.
Hi. I am happily using this mod along with your outfit replacer, CORONA, and StarQueen. I saw the post that her looks are baked into the saves once you first meet her. When I ran the game last night and I first met her in the cave, everything was working and showing up like in your screenshots. I then went back to the Lodge and only some of her new look remained. Black hoops and green eyes are there but the makeup is muted and her tattoo is gone. I checked the ESM in Vortex and I selected Manage Conflicts and re-checked for conflicts. There are 4 files that conflict with StarQueen and 1 that conflicts with CORONA eye replacer. All are set to apply this mod by default instead of the other mod files. All mods are up to date. Is this a known issue? Thanks
It is a known issue. Sarah does the same thing as well as other companions when their looks are changed, I honestly don't know enough at the engine level to fix it. Her makeup look will go away come back at random... think of it as her just not doing her makeup that day ;) Lol
I'm pretty convinced that using Starfield engine fixes resets Andreja's looks. Now there are some parameters that can be turned off in the Engine Fixes that might prevent that but I haven't tried that yet.
That is interesting about the 'Engine fixes' thing. Makes sense that a mod which messes with the engine would have an effect on mods that rely on the engine as is.
I'm 75% sure it's engine fixes causing the issue, my first test with engine fixes installed, the mod worked properly until I left the lodge, I uninstalled engine fixes, started a new game, ran the needed quests to get Andreja into the game, then played for another hour give or take(with her following), repeating everything I did in the prior game that triggered the bug, and so far the bug has not happened.
EDIT: I'm now 100% positive it's engine fixes, I tested for several more hours, reloading the game, dying and allowing the game to load auto, etc, etc, and I can't reproduce the bug. Just a note: going through the unity(ng+) with engine fixes installed will NOT fix the issue, what will happen is, her appearance will go back to modded until the fix that is causing the issue is applied again, basically you'll be caught in a loop, so basically you have three choices to fix the game, remove engine fixes, start a new game(recommended), remove engine fixes before going into the unity(I have no idea what damage this will do to your save), or disable all the NPC fixes in the engine fixes .ini file, and either, start a new game or go through the unity(untested, try at your own risk). I will be reporting my findings to the author of engine fixes ASAP, so please don't hound the person, and hopefully this can be fixed.
I'm convinced it's the Engine Fixes as well. Once Andreja's appearance has been altered - you might not notice it immediately, but only on a subsequent game load, nothing works to restore her modded appearance.
NG+ does work, but that's a pretty extreme workaround.
No earrings huh? She should be wearing Black Hoops, that is what was set when I last generated new geometries and meshes. I just started a new playthrough so I haven't seen her yet, I cleared space on my drive so don't think I have old saves where her previous appearance isn't already baked in. Sh!#
Any old saves won't affect your current game at all. I mess around with all kinds of mods and have saves with and without mods that work fine, all in the same folder.
That said, let me check again with the loose files version of your mod in case I messed something up on my side. I always convert loose files to archives then delete the loose files so I can enable/disable a mod in plugins.txt.
What is the outfit mod you used in the 5th picture? I know it's the one that Miranda used in Mass Effect, but I haven't been able to find that black color variant
Google ai has this incorrectly stated that this is a kissing mod. Unless that's true. And if it isn't... I'm surprised someone hasn't made one of those yet.
I had to put the texture files into \Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data folder and the esm file into the main folder. It didn't work if I copied the texture files over to where the esm goes. After I enabled it in creations, Andreja was showing the modifications. See if that helps.
same here. still not working. i dont wanna roll back my save all those hours for a tezture change, even though i do want it. i wonder if i reset her through console commands will that work..?
This won't work consistently, if at all, if you have already met Andreja in game. Companion appearances are Baked into every save after they appear. I recommend either new game or if you are mid playthrough wait for ng+
Not sure if this is related to your mod...I have so many! But I noticed that while the mod works exactly as advertised. All the appearance stuff applied, her character talents/traits? are now absent. Like if I want to add her to the crew of my ship I know from the past she has 2 in Energy Weapon Systems and now all of that is just blank. She's adding nothing to the ship crew basically. Any thoughts?
Got the mod to work again, but I had to revert to an older save, a fairly recent one I made before I started messing around with Starfield Engine Fixes again.
Pretty sure with or without Engine Fixes, this needs to be installed and active before she ever appears in game. Otherwise the engine bakes her default appearance into the save.
I've just tested with an old save from before the Creations release (never modded). Found Andreja at the lodge, verified that she looked un-modded, then exited the game and loaded your mod.
The mod worked just fine.
By the way, are the earrings a new feature? Never noticed them before.
The earrings were always supposed to be there, but they are finally showing correctly since I baked the meshes/geometries. I am not happy with the purple color though, so I'll be either changing that to black or green. She is actually supposed to have a bridge piercing also, but apparently two jewelry head-parts won't render at the same time.
Hello. I read the previous messages. PERSONALLY FOR ME it didn't work AFTER finding Andreia in the mine and talking in the Lodge. When installing the mod BEFORE entering the mine and the first meeting it worked, but without connecting the plugin, only the texture (I checked 4 times). I don't know why, but it worked. Attention: I disabled autosave! When loading the autosave, the face was reset to default and I had to roll back to the manual save file. P.S. The face also flew off after several crashes (like some of the mods - they are on the list, but they do not partially or completely work. Rolled back a few levels. I want to try the following: save the face in the CharGenMenu preset and try to use it after another crash.
You guys using Starfield Engine Fixes? I haven't played in quite a while but I was having these issues before while using that mod. Think he fixed it later though...unless that bug came back. If using that mod, try without and see if it works. I don't remember if you need to disable it before meeting her though. Just a suggestion.
The face is probably being overwritten by another body mod you have installed. This mod should load after any body texture mod that you have installed in your mod manager.
The update should solve that problem. The previous version did not have baked geometries/meshes so the game would constantly fight to fall back on the default. Also, obviously, you need to load this after any other mod that changes the facegen like Starfield HD 17, Monstrmagic etc....

bFixCompanionEyeTracking=0
The default setting is 1
If Andreja has already lost her makeup and you don't have an older save it looks like changing this setting might not help.

Having this mod load after it or disabling Andreja's Walk gets the earrings back.
edit, that did not work
I recommend either new game or if you are mid playthrough wait for ng+

Still the best NPC makeover for Starfield in my opinion.

Still trying to figure it out.
We're going to run into a mod limit again quickly with too many full master mods.
Thank you for ur work, sadly, face keep reverting back to vanilla((
