I genuinely hate to be this person, but the mod isn't working for me. I have downloaded and successfully used about 10-15 other mods that alter spacesuits. I'm not sure why this one isn't working as I am installing it just like every other mod. I am manually installing this mod bc that's just what I do for texture mods. I heard someone mention something about renaming the file but I am not sure. Any tips?
Sorry for the late reply. So, can you walk me through exactly what you're doing, and where? From there I'll do my best to solve the problem.
EDIT: I noticed an error with the 4th variant that I need to fix. The White and Gray version, In the spacesuit_ecliptic folder, there's an entirely unnecessary second set of textures in a folder called "White and Gray". That folder can be deleted. I'll fix this soon. (I still need what I asked about above)
I'm pretty sure all I'd have to do is take the transparency map and just make that black, then the visor texture should get applied over that it doesn't look like an unrealistic/unnatural void-ish black. I'll give it a look sometime soon.
I can't get this mod to work. I dropped it in the Starfield folder accessed through Documents, and the one the one through Steam->steamapps->common route.
Fixed it all up, should be good to go with following the instructions. Place the data folder from the mod into the following directory. C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\My Games\Starfield
If this still doesn't work right after my fix, I'll release a step by step video to help anyone else who's having troubles.
Something kinda like a tan/cream/greenish fabric with a black armor, or like a silver armor? Or do you mean a silver helmet, black armor, with the tan/cream/greenish fabric?
Elaborate on what you wanna see a little more, it'll help me when editing the .dds files.
Silver Helmet with black/grayish fabric, Black/grayish chest armor, with the corners of it being the cyan color. same with the knees. tan/cream fabric, with the exception of gloves being black/grayish. Any other metallic part silver colored.
Wow, this is almost what I was looking for. Thanks for your work. Could you do this option? What if the gray fabric was in the white version of the fashion, instead of the white fabric? I like the steel and silver version, but don't like the white fabric. Can you make gray fabric from the black version of the mod for steel and silver like the white version? It would be cool
This is the color of the fabric I would like to see in the "White and Silver Ecliptic Spacesuit" version of the mod. You could call it the "Grey and Silver Ecliptic Spacesuit"
I think the White and Gray version I uploaded today (15th of September) is what you're looking for, but I'm not sure if the Gray is dark enough for what you wanted. If not I'll tweak it some time soon.
Thank you, you are the best. I don’t know yet, maybe I’ll take a look tomorrow. If it turns out to be not quite dark, then in principle I can make it a little darker myself via paint.net. In any case, thank you very much.

Your images don't have descriptions, so I'm confused on which file looks like what.
Any troubleshooting tips?

Oh and if possible, silver boots.
Just throwing this in here too, the elbow parts could be cyan too.
