      So I added some pics under the Images tab of the weapons on the USS Defiant. The sounds are pretty damn good as they are taken from move/tv. The cannons are really cool too. I like that the weapons were miniaturized so they don't appear to be such an eyesore. They remind me of the phaser turrets from the JJ Verse ships that could either fire like cannons or beams. 

      They take some skill to use as you get basically 1 shot every 2 seconds or so. So you want to be leading the target or up close. The other special weapon I love is the phaser beam turret. It's about as good as you can get to a continuous beam since all weapons are projectile based. 

      You can find the photon and quantum torpedoes from his other mods. Then there's that anti-capital ship weapon that is basically equivalent to a tri-cobalt torpedo!

      did you ever play star trek online? it is harder to play these days but i have had a blast with it off and on through the years . 
      as well as being a former cast member lmao .

    Ok. I've had this mod for quite some time and I'm happy to confirm that this mod still works even with the current version of the game.

    That said since I couldn't grab every enemy ship to add to the inventory, imagine my surprise when I found a Crimson Fleet Specter that I had just pirated from the pirates being armed with a phaser cannon. No wonder I was one-shotted a few times during missions or while checking indicated hostile activities. It's not just that ship either but there were instances with Spacers too.

    I think you really need to look at the ship list again or the ship module list again to ensure that this module is only available to the player.
    1. I have no time to edit mods now. One of the weapons is from vanilla I believe. Altough you can use the main version instead of the cheat version. Those should be with vanilla balancing. So it wont impact you.

    Hey - love the work you do! Just wondering - do the weapons show up in a ship servies technicians sell list? and if so, is there a level requirement? I only ask as they're not showing for me there on new atlantis

      Thank you for getting back to me - I have waited a few days in game but will try again - are they called Phaser beams?

      They haven't show up for sale, unfortunately 
    6. I just manually downloaded, copy pasted to SF data folder and enabled the esm inside creations load order and all weapons are there and works normally.. idk maybe you have some other problem :/

      Try building them in your base shipyard

      Well, I uninstalled it and then installed it manually but still doesn't work - they don't appear in the ship builder at my base either
      no idea why
    8. I really cannot tell :/ They are standalone, and on my end it all seems fine :/

    Hello. Do I overwrite the regular file with the Massive Damage version, or can the Massive Damage file be used by itself?

    Super cool weapons, but i have i question - probably not for your turrets, rather in general - for some reason when i place them on a ship, sometimes only 2-3 turrets shoot, all others just rotate and track the target but do not fire. i have a lot of power, so this wouldn't be the cause. I managed to get them all working on another ship on a previous character, but i have no idea how. Anybody else encountered this? Help would be very much appreciated
    1. If I am not mistaken each turret has its own ammo, so maybe some turret used its ammo while others didnt. I think its strange to be honest.

    Gope you're having a safe and fun weekend.
    When you get around to it, the phaser beam turrets,  with the layers hotfix the other day, they can no longer be turned to the sides or backwards, they only face forward. Not sure if this is because something in the hotfix changed the way the game reads them or not but thought I'd let you know

      I went back and double check.
      So, the high firing rate phaser turret can change in the 4 directions. The low fire rated one(labeled Proper phaser beam) does not change direction when placing on ships. Inwonder if this is because I downloaded the more damage version? Possibly 🤷🏾‍♂️🙃🤣

    Will this mod require an update for the new game update like you star trek ship modules?

      I'll continue to be patient as you work through your mods. hopefully you get around to updating the big damage EM Machine gun optional file.

      I said EM Machine Gun but meant to say the big damage version of the Phaser beams.
      but I also use the EM ship weapons so awesome!

    I know its not exactly lore/cannon for Star Trek, but any chance you could make a slightly tweaked version with Blue instead of Red beams? it would go so well with the your Photon torps mod, the Avon tech Nacel engines as well as your glowing blue wings. I would add an image of my current ship, which is what inspired me asking this but my laptop, after some meddling of mine isnt saving screenshots anymore :/ I honeslty dont know what I did to break it lol

    finally, I was able to get this mod to work. after trying manually paste/type and save the esm into plugin but didn't save so vortex wouldn't load the plugin. I uninstalled and then redownloaded this mod and the Outpost Turret mod, and badaboom! the plugins loaded in the esm line and the mods work and are awesome. 

    at some point, is it possible that the ship high powered auto turret beam come with a green beam instead of red, like the Borg? greens my color. just curious if this could be a thing. and do these turn completely around 360, or only halfway? because I can't flip them to point backwards to the rear of my ship. I always have at least one weapon facing backwards

      If I recall correctly I made sure turrets are 180 to -180 turn rate meaning they should cover all sides!
