With the new update and DLC and CK coming up this mod will probably break and will not be updated. I am taking a break from Starfield and Starfield Modding until after the CK is released and probably not for a couple years when the game is out of early access and we know full roadmaps and DLC. This is not out of hate or spite but just the fact I don’t want to work on an unfinished game and with all the potential and future updates that are planned that frankly looks like Starfield is on its way to becoming something even more amazing than initial release and I am super hopeful! I appreciate everyone who downloaded any of my mods and GRiNDTerra will be back one day as something stronger because of all of you. These mods are now open sourced and you can do what you want with them. I won’t respond to anything for quite awhile so good luck out there in the Starfield!

Appreciate the heads up! fixed! It was a ghost reference as well there was nothing in it. I update both at the same time and forgot to hit the clean master. So even if you push through there shouldnt be any issues.
It was causing CTD for me when starting the game, really bad timing with the new patch release, I had done a quite few updates, took me a while to figure out . I figured it was a ghost, so I opened it with a dummy plugin and cleaned the masters and got myself up and running. :-)
DId Andreja's mission. All caves were empty. Except one "human" Can no longer go to Sol system. Cant load old saves prior to installation to remove mod.
OK. Thanks. Still cannot go to Sol system without crashing though. Reverting to 2 day old save. Removing POI, More Hostile, and This.. Keeping Weather and Grindterraformed. New factions are causing me too many issues. Plus I have A LOT of mods..
Got to Sol... Had to leave marker on there for a second.. then a drop down showed.. one was blank. one said sol. I chose the latter and was able to jump there. Have not crashed so far since removing said mods.
I will say and i put in on the front page uninstalling any mods that add NPCs can cause crashes. Now i have just pushed out another update which should clear all issues with this plugin. Same with if you use NPCFactionDiversity and his other mod adding more factions, they cant be removed. Once they are added in to save your kind of stuck with them. You can update to new versions and not have the CTD bug. But that issue sounds a little more than a faction mod if it is messing with UI and giving double options.
Thanks. I got it working. I went back to a save coming out of Unity. All is working now. Much appreciated. Even the glitch with Sol is gone. (fingers crossed.. no more bugs.. .lol).. But it is greatly appreciated. I am stable now.. i hope..
Oh I will give this advice tho if you have a save before going or at the unity is a good place to do stuff. Enter the unity area but don’t pass through aand save. After you save and before you pass through you can update and change mods. Because walking through resets everything with new and is a good place to mod swap. But you have to be in the unity not in your spaceship before. This is also the spot you can remove mods that aren’t working for you.
Thanks. I have tried that. It usually works. Sometimes, it gets stuck at credits and doesnt fully reload. Sometimes, cannot even load save if all mods are turned off. Maybe I had on some modded items/weapons.. Not sure. However, I am learning. You mod creators are the best. Thanks a lot.
Edit: Cannot use new update yet. as I do have POI/More hostile factions running alongside your mod. Must wait for patched version.
My version to use with the Faction Diversity New Factions and my version to use with just faction diversity not with the new factions both will work now and didn’t need update. I had to update the version if you do not use those mods. And I did have to help someone with this before you would only want one of my versions not two. So if you have faction diversity and faction diversity more factions you would download only the corporate lots of faction diversity version. My 1.6 is going to be only for the main file because I accidentally had a reference to the faction diversity mod.
Only issue, if I install SkySuiteExtended, the neon map doesnt load in. I am fearful to change load order right now. Maybe NG+ will add before the POI mods.
OK. thanks. It was working when it first came out. But that was several updates ago, and I had way WAY fewer mods. Im at 200 ESMs and 300 mods total. Even Craftable Quality is broken in my load order..
I started running into this issue while creating star systems. It seems to be caused by a mismatch between data stored at the start of a new game/NG+ and any altered star location data.
As near as I can tell, when a new game/NG+ is started the game engine reads all location records to populate the universe, and this information is stored, presumably in the save game file. At this point it is impossible to add new stars or planets, they won't show up. For some reason the star map is never, ever correctly updated. Instead the blank drop down at Sol, one entry for each added star system, appears. Furthermore, that drop down is not removed even if you remove all altered location data (remove the mods). The only fix is to start NG+, where the bad data is cleared and the universe rescanned.
I believe this to be a flaw in the game itself. The original universe data is being treated as immutable; when you load a save the game tries to update the universe but can't, which causes a conflict between the original and updated data. The data is supposed to be updated, to allow for dynamic changes to the galaxy such as shifting possession of star systems (think the UC eliminating the Crimson Fleet at Kryx), but it can't be, and you end up with a sort of overlay of the new data on the old, which appears as the Sol drop down.
This might be on purpose, so that you can't change ownership of Alpha Centauri and screw up the main quest, or it might be bad programming. Either way I'm not sure it is fixable by anyone but Bethesda at this point, because any modder fix is likely to damage existing saved games. It's possible, once Bethesda corrects recycling of RefIDs, that a safe repopulation of the universe will be possible.
Ok Thanks. So I believe I updated/added this mod JUST after the Unity, so I get your point. Also, couldnt finish any of the UC quests. Vanguard wouldnt start War Relics, and I couldnt return Kryxs Legacy to either side.. as the ship battle afterwards would never commence. May be from same issue. i have started another NG+, but this time all mods were installed prior to going through unity. (This also fixed NG++ not giving weapons/armor/cash.) I will see if I run into any issues this playthrough...

Killing Gterra will no longer anger companions as of 1.75. They should warn you before turning aggressive and if you are trespassing, but it is not a very long window before they aggro.
I've got this working, and have Grindterra POI's twice now... but both times there have been a LOT of nude Grindterra employees. I know this was a vanilla bug, where guards would spawn naked, but after the update, and a mod that I left on that "fixed" that issue, I never saw this vanilla bug in my game, but now at POI's with Grindterra employees, its like, 30% of them are nude. Some with just the helmets, but no clothes. Any other POI or location is normal, no nude guard or NPC's anywhere, but at Grindterra ones... its a good chunk of them, like 20% of them are nude.
So after using the latest version, I get a prompt when loading my savegame - saying the "esm is no longer available GrindTerraIndustriesFaction.esm" as if I removed or disabled it.
But the mod is enabled, the .ESM is in the mod's folder, and the ESM name is also in my pluginstxt file...
So its giving me the warning as if I removed the mod, even though its there. Also, if I continue to load after the warning, its an instant CTD.
sooooo, should I just revert to the older version? I can't seem to download the older version in the archives, I had the Jan 4 version that had 128 unique downloads. Is there a way to allow me to download that one again?

Fixed. I dont know how it happened but there was a random line of code that was added where it wasnt. Im so sorry i dont know how it got there but it is fixed. It was a line from POINPCDIversity which flagged it as a requirement. I removed the line, and is back to how it should be. Looking through i really hope this is the last issue. I apologize for the inconvience.
Okay, this version works! And the flag / notification about the plugin missing a master is gone too. Just glad you can catch and fix everything before others run into issues.

I have a question may be you and anyone here can help about consideration or suggestion on the load order of the mods, becuase it is not working as spected and I am pretty sure that is a mod order issue. I am using MO2.
Here is the list of the loadorder.txt that create MO2 when you sort the plugins in the UI.
I see two issues right away. One you do not want the base game files in your plugins . Txt. So remove Starfield.esm Constellation.esm OldMars.esm BlueprintShips-Starfield.esm
the other you want to remove is GrindTerraIndustriesFactionDiversityVersion.esm. you want to use one OR the other not both. Since you are using the lots of factions you want to keep the other.
and last it looks like you have some framework mods and you want all those on the top. edited: that’s what I can comfortably tell you. I would also mention you do have some of my older versions of my mods that I have recently updated based on the esm names. I can say if you’re going from one of my versions to the newer it would be safe to update even though the file names changed. Same with removing the extra diversity plugin since you already have the other version loaded you hopefully shouldn’t have an issue.

I had follow the suggestions you mentioned earlier and modified the sort order of the loading mods.
What I couldn't fix is the part you mentioned that I have older version of your mod. I always update all my mods to the latest version by checking the update from MO2 and double checking in the Nexus Mod web site.
Could you please if you are so kindly to mention which old versions of your mod I have in my plugin file in order to fix them?
I am sorry I misspoke you are fine with current version names. But I will say you probably want to put earth pois.esm above my mods and desolation. And you still want to remove *BlueprintShips-Starfield.esm it is a vanilla file and not needed in load order or plugin it could cause issues. Other than that everything else is on the other mods but all my files and basic setup is good to go.
Okay, I just saw that description says I can't remove this mod since it breaks your save if you do, so I want to update to this newer version, how do I do it correctly? Do I install the newer stand-alone, overwriting the previous mod - then install the texture pack as a separate mod, and have it AFTER in the load order?
I just don't wanna mess anything up. Will wait for a response before updating.
I am going to respond first very generally in case others want help as well. If you need more help I will personalize I got you.
If you have never downloaded any files from here before, download the texture pack and place files on instructed path. These are just textures and do not need to be added into any plugin.txt or starfield custom just loose files. Then choose one plugin file per play through or save file and put in your load order. See instructions per plugin file. Good to go.
If you are updating from a previous version to new version: do not download texture files. Only download the new plugin file and replace the old plugin file. The textures work and do not need update unless I ever feel like adding more and I will post everywhere when to download textures again. 99.9% of my new updates will only be the plugin.esms.
Plugin Safety and Updating: New updated plugins will work instantly. All changes will be immediate unless otherwise stated and completely safe to add to a save that either A. Already had same plugin and update or B. Adding to a save that had NONE of the files before. This includes third party files like more starborn npc faction diversity and others.
DO NOT change which type of plugins you use on same save. Example if you use the Lots of factions you cannot change it mid play through to the some factions. They all have to stay the same per save with the ONLY EXCEPTION IF YOU SAVE WHILE IN THE UNITY, YOU CAN SWITCH PLUGINS RIGHT BEFORE YOU WALK THROUGH TO START A NG+ YOU CANNOT STILL BE IN YOUR SHIP OR ANYWHERE ELSE YOU HAVE TO SAVE IN THE UNITY AREA FOR IT TO WORK.

the other you want to remove is GrindTerraIndustriesFactionDiversityVersion.esm.
you want to use one OR the other not both. Since you are using the lots of factions you want to keep the other.
and last it looks like you have some framework mods and you want all those on the top.
edited: that’s what I can comfortably tell you. I would also mention you do have some of my older versions of my mods that I have recently updated based on the esm names. I can say if you’re going from one of my versions to the newer it would be safe to update even though the file names changed. Same with removing the extra diversity plugin since you already have the other version loaded you hopefully shouldn’t have an issue.
I had follow the suggestions you mentioned earlier and modified the sort order of the loading mods.
What I couldn't fix is the part you mentioned that I have older version of your mod. I always update all my mods to the latest version by checking the update from MO2 and double checking in the Nexus Mod web site.
Could you please if you are so kindly to mention which old versions of your mod I have in my plugin file in order to fix them?

it is a vanilla file and not needed in load order or plugin it could cause issues. Other than that everything else is on the other mods but all my files and basic setup is good to go.
Now appears everything workings fine with the last suggestions. I will keep a backup of the load order.

If you have never downloaded any files from here before, download the texture pack and place files on instructed path. These are just textures and do not need to be added into any plugin.txt or starfield custom just loose files.
Then choose one plugin file per play through or save file and put in your load order. See instructions per plugin file. Good to go.
If you are updating from a previous version to new version:
do not download texture files. Only download the new plugin file and replace the old plugin file. The textures work and do not need update unless I ever feel like adding more and I will post everywhere when to download textures again.
99.9% of my new updates will only be the plugin.esms.
Plugin Safety and Updating:
New updated plugins will work instantly. All changes will be immediate unless otherwise stated and completely safe to add to a save that either A. Already had same plugin and update or B. Adding to a save that had NONE of the files before. This includes third party files like more starborn npc faction diversity and others.
DO NOT change which type of plugins you use on same save. Example if you use the Lots of factions you cannot change it mid play through to the some factions. They all have to stay the same per save with the ONLY EXCEPTION IF YOU SAVE WHILE IN THE UNITY, YOU CAN SWITCH PLUGINS RIGHT BEFORE YOU WALK THROUGH TO START A NG+ YOU CANNOT STILL BE IN YOUR SHIP OR ANYWHERE ELSE YOU HAVE TO SAVE IN THE UNITY AREA FOR IT TO WORK.
