Added 1x1 cabin habs. A one person cabin with a new luxury shower + toilet unit and an empty cabin for use with the decorator (reminder that the decorating ship habs has unknown effects on your save)
I can't get snaps on the fore and aft to work without completely messing up door creation for surrounding habs. These habs are intended to only have port or stbd doors. Even using copied habs and structs that have the desired snap behaviour as a base to work from results in doors getting messed up. Until I can figure out what arcane combination of keywords and objects placement are needed to have snaps that do not try to create doors I opt to simply not have the problem creating snaps. So there are no snaps at all fore and aft, and that could be a tad annoying with ship building. Sorry about that.
A empty version of the wing hab would be nice 😉 Can not click on the exterior hab itself in shipbuilder mode and have it identify, only the hatches. Could this be part of the issue with disappearing decor?
Have you tried it? One person on Reddit says it just worked as is. If not, you can use the link in my OP to update the mesh like I did. Click through to that Nif tool and follow the instructions in the pinned post. I just did that as a precaution. It’s pretty straight forward. A few clicks. It’s not worth uploading a new mod and as I say above the 1x1s are missing walls for me so I’m hardly the one to draw from here 😝
It seems to vary from person to person. Some didn't even have to run this through Nifscope, some like me have and the corner habs are good but the side ones are missing pieces, others have no issues. I wish I could tell you more.
Sad :/ Even after updating the nif files, the habs are still not visible on my ship builder, and when I want to switch to the stbd version, it crash my game ^^ I try to recreate the mod ather updating nif files, but habs are not even in the ship builder list ^^ I don't understand this bug ^^ and saddly this mod is discontinued :(
You may have to "appropriate" the wing design for SPE... They look like Stroud habs in the first place. A nicely decorated wing hab would go perfectly next to a 2x3 Living Quarters,, nice fireplace... hydroponics, moon-roof... etc.. LOL... I would not be upset if SPE came out with a similar, furnished design... LOL
If I decorate the habs then they are empty after making unrelated changes in the ship builder.
Edit: I converted the esm back to esp using the Starfield Plugin Bridge. (I had to follow the process to remove the blueprints dependency). After I converted it back to an ESM in the creation kit decorations seem to stick. I'm not sure if this is a placebo or if the plugin version mattered somehow.
Edit2: Nope, I added a ladder in another part of the ship and the decorations were wiped in custom habs including these but not in vanilla habs.
I tested this theory as well. I put furniture decoration into these cob's habs on my ship, I exit the ship, go to a ship tech, and delete a hab elsewhere and replace it with a completely different hab. When I come into the ship, the decorator that I put in the hab that I deleted is removed, and the replacement hab is there. But when I go into the cob's habs that I decorated. The decorations are still there.
Note that I just downloaded this mod as is, and then use the Nif migration tool to update all the meshes, and I just install it. And everything works for me, including persisting decorations. That doesn't mean I can guarantee there's no problems. It's just that with the limited testing that I did, the decorations I put inside Cob's habs stays even if I go to a ship tech and making a change elsewhere in the ship.
I installed the mod the same way you did. Clearing the decorations didn't happen right away for me, but it did eventually happen twice after I had decorated the habs. I do have the clutter enabled with the Starfield Engine Fixes mod, so I guess I could try disabling that and see if it matters.

can we get a reverse flipped version? Neither vanilla nor various mods (responsible for flipping) can be used on this one. it would be great, if this (your) work keeps going and progressing by time. I really enjoy it. Thank you in advance and cheers!
I really like this mod. it's still very useable in game, but crashes the Creation Kit. I just upgraded to 64GB and still crashes the CK. I can trick it to load just one of the wings, save the CK. But sadly the esp will not open again, it continues to crash.

I just used the nif tool, it fixed the nif files, but the habs aren't fixed, did you made anything else for this mod to work ? :/
