Updated for Starfield 1.11.36, but it should work for all game versions. You don't need to update if you've fixed the mod by renaming the geometries. I decided to fix it with another method: overwriting the NIF files. This method should prevent the mod from breaking if Bethesda renames the mesh file paths again.
Thank you very much. In FO4 at least I could go to the questionable surgeon in Diamond City after character creation to be "enhanced" not so in Starfield 8 years later. I so appreciate this mod. Endorsed.
I have come across the weirdest problem. I originally had "No bras in space" texture mod installed through Vortex, so I uninstalled it, and installed your mod, however your mod doesn't do anything and no bras in space persists. I checked the Data folder, and the "No bras in space" texture isn't there, but your mods Geometry files are there. I've used Vortex for a while, but can't fathom how this would happen. I considered some cache in App data, but couldn't find anything there, and the older mods are deleted from Vortex. It's a real conundrum.
Figured it out. I didn't get the whole folder junction situation, so since I originally played the game on Game Pass the Data folder junction was still pointing towards that version. How I only just noticed is baffling.
It looks really good. I installed "Enhanced Plus" & Tank Top retexture pink" with the "Baka disable my game folder" mod and it doesn't seem to work with me. I've checked the files are in the right place in Data\...etc, but my character's appearance hasn't changed. Maybe with the maj it doesn't work anymore? I also use "sarah roud butt mod" with vortex. I'm not very good at mods, do you have any suggestions for my problem?
Try to start over. Delete all the files from my mod and try this:
(1) Download the "Tank Top Retexture - Pink" with Vortex. (2) Enable the mod with Vortex (3) Check your Data folder. It should have Data > textures > clothes > outfit_vladimir > outfit_vladimir_f > outfit_vladimir_shirt_f_color.dds (4) Start the game. (5) Get Vladimir Sall's Outfit by using the console command: player.additem 1D1DF 1 (6) Wear the outfit. (7a) If it is pink, you have done it correctly. You can now download the main file with Vortex following the same steps. (7b) If it is not pink, the mod hasn't been installed properly, or your Vortex/computer is not set up correctly. Ensure that you have created the StarfieldCustom.ini file in "Documents\My Games\Starfield\" and has the following text:
Cool it works well...I added "Pant replacer" & "Tank Top re-texture black" and all is good. Thanks again for helping me out so quickly. Your mods are great. Best regards!
thanx for sharing this mod. looks great! i noticed while i was installing this mod manually (like the stubborn mule that i am), that the optional file for optional pants have a typo. the file is named vALdimir, instead of vLAdimir. sorry to be a stickler, but i think it may cause some installation issues and wanted to help.
Nice, but whats going on with the Sam Coe jeans? They are not taking the THICC replacer. All other jeans have the THICC because I applied it to Sam Coe outfit.
It's because you have downloaded my mod, which has been structured to avoid conflicts with the vanilla meshes or any other mods that overwrite them, like your THICC mod. If you want the THICC version to work, you can try to do some file surgery.
Look for Data > Geometries > 8c219c448a6da2995bf5 > 169e5ceadf8acde83849.mesh.
Copy the 169e5ceadf8acde83849.mesh to somewhere temporary, and rename it to Pants.mesh.
Look for Data > Geometries > Pants > Pants.mesh.
Replace the Pants.mesh with the file that you just renamed.
I hope this helps. If the combination doesn't work and you want to revert the changes, backtrack the steps above or redownload/reinstall the files.
I think the actual jeans file you use in the replacer is not the same jeans file in sam coe's outfit. The geometry is not taking after doing as you instructed. I think the geometries would take if i could find the actual file for the sam coe jeans. I have an ESM, but it has ba2 files, and I dont know how to examine those. It should just be a nif file
The nif file for my version of Sam's Pants is altered to use a different geometry file path, so it won't work with other remodels of Sam's Pants. My proposed workaround was to get the thicc geometry into the nif file's referenced path. The alternative is to swap out my nif, replace it with the vanilla Sam's Pants nif, and make sure it's renamed accordingly.
If you want other pants, such as Sarah's or formwear, you'll need to find the nif files for those pants, rename them to match the nif of Vladimir's pants, and replace the original Vladimir pants nif. You end up with Data > meshes > clothes > outfit_valdimir > outfit_vladimir_pants_f.nif (the renamed nif). Note the misspelling of the folder "outfit_valdimir". If your replacement outfit is remodelled, you'll need to ensure the .mesh files are somewhere in your Data > geometries folders and subfolders. No need to rename those. You may also need to replace the morph.dat.

You can try downloading another clothing mod to see if you have the same problem.
Good luck.
