This mod file structure is set up for mo2, because I use mo2 and I won't ever use vortex. If you use vortex then you have to do what vortex users have to do to get your mods working.
If you have plugins enabled and your ini's are set up to run mods then the only reason this wouldn't work is if you have other mods overwriting. I understand that Starfield's File structure is different than Beth's past games, but the Hierarchy has not changed, it's still just 'Data" then everything else.
I do recommend 3 things.
Use MO2 instead of Vortex, set MO2 up to handle plugins
Use 'Plugins.txt enabler
Use Baka's 'disable mygames' or Windows hardlink Starfield's 'MyGames' Data folder to your actual Steam Games Starfield Data folder.
There are plenty of videos and tutorials out there to teach you how to mod your game. Google search 'How to run mods in Starfield'.. Start there.

Thanks for making this. Sarah somehow seems less pretentious with the same dialog, and also feels more natural to take along on Crimson Fleet pirate missions.
Sarah's hair is pretty Finnicky, basically any mod that touches Sarah screws that up. Including the community patch, as well as dialog mods for some reason. I just make sure this loads after everything.
Starfield might be a 7/10, but this is 11/10. Well done, love how she looks!
BTW, for anyone having trouble getting her hair to change it was a simple issue of this mod loading too early for anything that affects Sarah. This includes mods such as the Zen Master mod for her dialogue. Make sure this wins all conflicts and you may even want to stick it at the tail end of your load order, and make sure it's enabled in plugins.txt.
Also, remember to merge the Data folder SF makes in your Documents/My Games/Starfield directory with the Data folder in the actual game directory. This will always cause the mod to half work.

First, I just wanted to say apparently, only some people paid attention that, she was a drummer for a metal band in her high school years, so this is spot on! If y'all don't like it why do you comment? Yuck.. Could you possibly make your own version of Andreja as well? I wish she could have green or pink hair ... Maybe, the whole crew if you're up for it in the future? I'd love to see a whole alt version of them all honestly.. Sam with some black eyeliner and, black hair .. That would be sexy .. lol I need to figure out how to get tattoos for Sarah now! I have purple hair irl I'm not a teen.. Thanks for this!
Ok made it work (half of it). The problem lies in the \Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data folder. Either this mod or the Baka mod are not using the Starfield\Data folder (I think the culprit is this mod because other mods are working fine).
I made a hard link and now it magically works (except for the air color, she's still blonde)

Ok, I finally figured out, why Sarah didn't get her blue hair. There is a space in front of and behind the hyphens. It is working now. Thank you for putting up with those of us, who couldn't get the hair to work. I really do like the new Sarah.
When you add the plugin name to plugins.txt it has to be exactly the same as the .esm (there are spaces in the filename) ** FA - Sarah Morgan - Darkside of the Comet.esm **
I don't even like blue hair tbh, but then I got the Cortana outfit, Cortana Bodysuit at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com), and I thought I'd try the look on Sarah with her wearing the outfit. And damn it looks good. Without it, the hair and makeup looks great too. Awesome job.
it seems everything works including eyes and make up but the hair won't turn blue for me? using MO2, installed plugins.txt enabler.. do i need to do something else with plugins.txt?
its really a bummer because i've managed to get 3 other mods working for Sarah but this one has me stumped as well.. I just left it as is, at least the eyes and make up work. She's basically a blonde goth girl only fans model type thing, which is alright with me i guess. :)
I am thinking there has to be a conflict, something else that is changing her record. This file works for most users, myself included. Maybe try moving it to the bottom of your load orders so it overwrites any other file with potential Sarah changes. Anything else that affects her appearance is a potential conflict.
So I played around and the only way I'm able to reproduce that is to disable the esm. So stands to reason that if you are still having blonde hair then your esm is not activated.
how do i activate the esm in MO2? it's not where it normally appears for other games

Not really your mods fault, but a fault within the game. Between her and Sam both having piloting, I seem to get the bug more often that turns the engine bars all green to where eventually the ship gets slower and slower, usually from questing forcing you to change ships. Crimson fleet does it like 3 times. Would love a version of this mod, that does not add the piloting.

I also was unable to get the hair to come through. After about 30 mins of troubleshooting I opted to just change it manually with the body-swap technique. (Become or Edit Any (Human) NPC - With Dummy NPC Spawner)
Also want to second another poster's request for the other outfit in the pics. Options! we want options! :)
