    Hey,

    Thanks for this mod, now that I'm into M class ship building it's very helpful.

    However I cannot believe you've never been asked in the comments if an option to disable auto zoom could be added to this plugin.

    It exists in the other enhanced ship builder but it's not as good as this one.

    Even if someone can give me a command to run with the CCRU so I can just manually do this myself would be very appreciated. 😊

    Ship Builder Configurator does this more cohesively and without the Command Runner requirements.

      Except that Ship Builder Configurator doesn't play nice with other mods.

    You need Console Command Runner for this mod to work, but this mod is not working with the most recent update from starfield. Is it possible to get a separate Batfile for this mod, so we can install it without the use of Console Command Runner?

    Hi all! Well, I read a lot of information on the Internet about how many people would like to be able to control the doors and stairs in their ship, and I’m still looking, maybe someone suddenly found that very combination of buttons in the designer and exclaimed, I know! How can I get the builders to cut my door in the right place? but so far I have not found this, sadness.Let’s take several ideas that I have read and can justify
    1 - you may need to select the attachment location and press the “attach” button (G) then select the desired hub.
    the answer is no, it doesn't work
    I’ll immediately make a reservation that I spent more than one hundred hours in the game, and even more so more than a dozen hours building the ship
    2 - perhaps some hubs have a special design in which a door is not providedthe
    answer is no, all hubs are designed so that they can open doors anywhere, after conducting many experiments I was convinced that hub doors can be absolutely anywhere, the only thing that I noticed is obvious is that the doors try to stand diagonally, and not in front of each other.
    3 - now my question is, why couldn’t the transitions be made at an angle of 45°? in some designs I would like to have a corner transition
    4 - 25 years, the Bethesda team diligently tried to make stairs, but could not, but in the star field they succeeded and the developers decided that it was time for players to go crazy with these stairs, there are so many of them that you want to erase the game from your computer and never not to launch anymore, why couldn’t they make an elevator? Is this science fiction after all or is it Fallout from the 50s? Why do I see a washing machine from 1949 in the most perfect house in the universe? What is this kind of Easter egg?But I will add this to you, I have two ships, Frontier and No Name, I completed the pirate quest and received a Comspike, unfortunately, the game deceived me by writing that “now you can get this module from any seller”, this is a lie, I installed the module on the second ship and destroyed the pirates, now I have two completely unique ships, of which I can’t make one, I have Frontier, which is the only hub in the game (its doors work as they should) and the second one is unnecessary, but on it contains unique Comspike modules... I'm furious.. (see photo)

      This mod provides the only possible work around for the issue I think your having. It's not perfect, but for now it's the only this available to us i believe.

    It used to work for me, but after version updates, it stopped working. Doesnt allow me to overlap anything.
    But, it did once, so, hoping it's a version bug that may get fixed in the future?

    Anyway, seeing talk on the thread, I see everyone is clamoring for the same thing as I, the ability to control where ladders and doors go.
    It's so annoying to have the system auto-decide for you, and some times in the most ridiculous ways, leaving doors that leas nowhere, dead ends and nonsensical layouts.

    Part of it begins by the fact the system doesnt allow looping corridors ever.
    The only exceptions to force this, sometimes are the HopeTech passage habs, but even those can fail sometimes.
    Trying to use the NovaGalactic big cockpit with 2 doors, would be amazing if it allowed looping corridors, having 2 ways to move between floors, but instead, it always blocks access from bottom to top and one always ends up having to necessarily go through that cockpit in order to reach top floor.

    No idea what thing Bethesda did to restrict this in such a dumb way, or if modders can do anything to fix it, but, damn, I hope someone does.

    Using another mod for this atm, but keeping an eye on yours for additional features.
    We desperately need ladder/hatch control as well as more orientations for existing modules.
    Makes no sense that we cannot flip something like the Hope 5 Landing Gear around.

      I agree. The worst things with the editor right now are:
      A) No custom ladder placement and access hatch or interior editor of any kind.
      A1) No way to see inside the ship. Interior editor mode on ship editor would correct this too.
      A2) It would be also nice to place the ladder orientations, so you get easy acces to the way you mostly go.
      B) No way to enter game menu with keyboard key configuration when editing ships.
      C) No way to flip parts. Why in hell do I need to use two 1x1 parts to do a lateral corridor instead of 1x2 or 1x3 sideways. Also the ships would look much better if you could flip the generators and ballast storages around and use them on front/top.
      D) No color code boxes to manually enter color codes.
      D1) No pipet-tool to use existing ship colors.
      E) 1x1 Storage room corridors give no storage, nor really anything else. Besides ladder placement and fillover, why the hell would I use these?
      F) The 1x1 docking bays have no interior, so they effectively block way when you try to use them as 1x1 corridors.
      G) Windows costing a ton of weight per window, meaning they weight more than my car... And thus eat up tons of maneuverability very fast when used plenty.
      G1) No way to rotate windows either, so if you want to use specific window for direction it wasn't designed, no bonus.
      H) No way to remove interior clutter.
      I) Vertical hatches so you could limit the fall damage by closing some of them.
      J) SHUT UP VASCO!!! Nobody likes nagging!

      If the mod creator or anybody could address these issues, it would be great!

      I am with you on all these points.  As it is, I just hate how unintuitive the shipbuilder is.

    I feel like I'm doing something wrong here, but this isn't allowing me to overlap anything even a little bit in the ship build.  (I do have the requirement mods loaded)  I've tried both versions of the overlap, the safe and the unsafe to see if the tolerances made a difference, but not having any luck.

    What's maximum overlap tolerance? Im tyring to overlap a 2x3 into the middle portion of the 3x3x3 m module, but cant, its red. I can overlap in top and bottom portion fine tho. Ive set the overlap tolerance to -5 still not able to, if anyone knows how to make this work that'd be awesome.
