For those confused, you can navigate to your Starfield install (through Steam for me) and copy/paste the first set of numbers into your Search Quick Access. It will find the folder and file you need to change.
Can you remove the folders above the Data folder so that it will install correctly? Either as two archives or with a FOMOD installer? Tracking to watch for an update.
Yeah, it's annoying that mod authors don't set the file structure but still allow the button for mod-manager download, but it is really easy to fix.
If you're in Vortex:
Right-click mod > Open in file manager > Click through til you get to the "data" folder you want > Cut & paste into the root, delete the rest > click "use newer file" when Vortex notifies you of the change
Root means the root data folder corresponding to starfield.
Stafield main folder is located in something like steam/steamapps/common/starfield
In the starfield folder you will find a data folder: this is the root folder, meaning that the data folder of the mod you just downloaded needs to be copy in the data starfield folder (the root).
Either you : - merge the downloaded data folder with the starfield data, - or you paste all the files in the downloaded data (should be called texture, mesh whatever) in the starfield data folder.
+1 and please share the CP77 mox tattoo ;-) Thanks for this nice mod, hoping for more. Some1 should replace all the ugly male hairdos with nice females ones like this.
Nah. The head is heavily modded, not only did i change the skintextures but i also remodelled some meshes in Blender. Took me some time to get this look which is why i'll keep it to myself. About the Mox tattoos, i'm not really sure if i'm allowed to release them since i haven't asked CDPR for permission yet.
I can look into it but it think you could possibly change the file names to the ones your companion uses and replace those instead. All companions have the same height so i assume they also share the same skeleton.

Edit: Can't disable it post release... Will disable it for future mods.
Could you/someone explain this? What is the root?

I installed it through the vortex and removed the options I did not want, but the option of my choice is not showing.
