THINGS TO DO -Make items available in shops. Done -make random NPCs wear items. -Make textures standalone. Done -Make items upgradeable. Being worked on (You can now craft items) -Make Female version. Done -Make items lootable. -Make VBB available. Done (With working morphs)
If you use this with 70/100% the outfit will be the same. What size body you use dosnt matter unless you use other items with mine. like a VBB 70% belt from another mod will be larger on your character wearing my VBB 50% outfit.
Its not that easy, and takes some time, and no 50% is as high as I go for my mods sorry. I know someone is working on a body slides mod for Starfield, so soon there should be options for many body types.
Loving this mod so far, I only wish you advertised the cybernetics a bit more! Everything from the variety of Cyberarms to the goggle variant and mask that (subjectively) look like implants, an Ebbside chipped look is so much more obtainable and convincing than a lot of the mods out right now 😁
Mod isn't working. Installed using Vortex and I have Plugins.txt Enabler installed. However the items do not appear in the shop, crafting bench or console.
I have a problem with this mod. I created a female character and when I wear Outfit 1 (and all others versions), my character becomes invisible except for the head. Arm 1, Kneepad and mask have the same problem. Strange to see my head floating in the air :D
I'm used to mods and I always prefer to proceed with a manual installation. I carefully followed the installation steps. StarfieldCustom.ini is ok and here is my list of mods in the Plugins.txt file :
# This file is used by Starfield to keep track of your downloaded content. (You HAVE to keep a # on the first line here) *HSIBA.esm *Robotics_Outfit.esm
Any ideas ? Did I miss something? Thanks in advance.
Ok. I solved my problem after days and hours of research!
I had meticulously followed the installation steps of all dependencies such as the SFPluginsTxtEnabler.dll file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data\SFSE\Plugins folder. The Plugins.txt file in the C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Starfield folder and containing the following information:

# This file is used by Starfield to keep track of your downloaded content. *Robotics_Outfit.esm
The sfse_loader.exe and sfse_1_9_71.dll files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield folder. And finally the StarfieldCustom.ini file in the C:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games folder \Starfield and containing the following lines:
It seems to me that I followed all the instructions perfectly and yet, although it was possible to obtain the items using the console command, as soon as I applied the outfit to my character, the mesh of all the items became invisible.
Luckily, I found a person in a Reddit forum who explained that it was necessary to delete the Data folder located in C:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games\Starfield and that it was necessary to add lines to the StarfieldCustom.ini file and in a precise order as follows:
Unfortunately, it still didn't work so I searched again until I found someone who explained that I had to delete the StarfieldCustom.ini file and add the lines it contained to the Starfield.ini file instead and located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield folder.
In the end, I had to test several configurations but I ended up finding how to add the lines myself and this is what the Starfield.ini file looks like now:
And voilà ! All is working fine now !!! Its still really strange but it work very well and your mod look so nice !
What do you think of all this story ? Do you find it normal that I was forced to do this manipulation which is not explained anywhere and which goes against all the indications of all the current mods for Starfield? I'm really curious about why because I like to understand why things work the way they work.
Looks like the update to your backpacks (or at least Bounty Hunter Pack 2) now shares a slot with the cigarette from this mod. Sucks for me, as I frequently matched those two items in an outfit :( Overall, though, I just adore this set!
updated it with a new slot so it can be worn with other items. Ive never used this slot, but all seems fine. If you notice any bug with your characters eyes, like the eyes missing or anything let me know please.
How would one go about making a replacer that simply lets you equip cyberarms with other outfits? I love this mod but there don't seem to be any other outfits compatible with the arms yet.
You cant, you would have to edit every outfit in the game, and remove any long sleeve, and arm on the outfit, so that it would not clip with the cybernetic arm. The only way it would work is to make the cybernetic arm massive, so it covers the arm, but that would look bad..
Sorry for being a little unclear. I only want to edit a handful of outfits, not all of them. I understand that it'd be a huge undertaking to change every outfit in the game.
Same thing would apply, you have to remove the arm from the outfit, and if the outfit has a sleeve, you remove that also. Then make sure the outfit dosnt use the same biped slots in Xedit, and the arm can be applied to the outfit. I made the arm modular, but the outfit you attach it to needs to be missing an arm/sleeve, otherwise the arm/sleeve will be visible when you have the cybernetic arm attached. I hope that clears things up on how it works, and what you need to do in order to achieve that. :)
