I did not look at the settings, but maybe she uses the Luma Sharpen filter in Reshade. I always thought it odd that they called it Luma HDR when Luma refers to the brightness of an image. In fact, there is a luma graphics card coming out. I admit I was hoping that this was a special reshade to use with Luma HDR, but the fact is Luma is already a word in the graphics sphere. The creators of Luma HDR did not coin the term.
Kind of reminds me of when I play a song that my kids have never heard from a long time ago, and they say that song copied a newer song that they happened to hear before that they heard my song. Then I have to explain to them who copied who. This is not quite like that as we do have a very well known mod out there, but still. I am not so sure if it is necessarily on purpose.
Anyway, that is all I have to say as, you know, it could very well be that the creator was indeed trying to piggyback. I just have a cautious nature when it comes to accusations.
Hey :). You are of course free to call your mods whatever you want, and I'm hoping this is just a concidence, but as one of the authors of the HDR Luma mod, I would kinda appreciate if this mod was called something else (there's millions of alternatives, e.g. "Lumina").
@Filoppi Just out of interest, how did you come about naming Luma HDR as you did? Despite what I said above about maybe they named it that for different reasons, I really, really love Luma HDR and feel like it brought Starfield to a whole different level.
The fact that the author never responded after all this time, by the way, says to me that maybe he was doing exactly as you said and just piggybacking, which IS pretty shady.
