About this mod

This mod gives you infinite hover in air, superpower fly, does not require boostpack.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod is no longer required. It is included in the more fantastic star powers mod.

==========Description============

Why use an unhandy boostpack to fly, like you don’t have superpower. You have many gravity-themed super powers and none of them can lift you from the ground? That’s no longer the case. This mod gives you the ability to float in the air on any altitude, you can hover around and fire weapons or using star powers normally. It relies on hotkey system to use.

This mod requires my more fantastic star powers mod (V1.7 or above), you need to install that mod first, which may be a bit troublesome. I am sorry for that. That mod adds some more powers used by binding to hotkeys, but that mod is completely stand alone and before you binding the powers to hotkeys and using them in the game, they won’t add anything to the game or affect the game in any aspect. If you don’t want anything from that mod then just bind hotkeys for this mod and that mod won’t bother you anyway.

IMPORTANT: After installation of this mod, when you first enter the game and you have equipped a boostpack, you need to first unequip the boost pack and then equip it for this mod to work. This mod won’t work with a boostpack that equipped before the mod installation. But of course you only need to do this for one time. Similarly, in you have an activated “anti-gravity fly” power (from the more star power mod), you need to toggle it off and then toggle it on.

After installing both mod, you can bind hotkeys to two fly-themed powers (Anti-gravity fly and levitation), for example:

Ctrl-F9=EnableAntiGravityFly
Ctrl-F10=DisableAntiGravityFly
Shift-X=SwitchLevitation

 I suggest you keep the anti-gravity fly activated, as it removes fall damage and let you fly without a boostpack (no need fuel, infinite fly), but of course the levitation power will work with or without the anti-gravity fly power.

After switching on, you need to do a air jump to stay in your current altitude. This means if you are standing on the ground, you need to jump to the air and jump again. If you are falling you need to jump once. If you are just doing the boostpack jumping then you will be directly frozen into your current altitude. In the levitation state you will not fall but can either using boostpack jumping to go higher. But you can normally fire weapons or do any other things. If you want to change your altitude, you need to switch the levitation power off and use boostpack jump to go the the altitude you want and switch on levitation power again. This is not convenient at first, but when you get used to it is not so bad. My suggestion is bind the levitation” power to a convenient key. Anyway, floating on air will give the combat and exploring a lot of advantage.

=========Installation===========
1. You need to install the more fantastic star powers mod (V1.7 or above) first.
2. Put the downloaded “HCL_ESM_Levitation.esm” and the “string” folder to the game’s data folder.
3. Use the Plugins.txt Enabler to enable it. Remember for both the “HCL_ESM_BasicMod_01.esm” and “HCL_ESM_Levitation.esm” their name should not be changed.
4. Start the game, reequip your boostpack or reactivate the antigravity fly power and then you can use levitation.

=========Compatibility==========
This mod is not compatible with any mods that edit the boostpack enchantment (the magic effect applied on objects)If you wear a mod-added boostpack this power also may not work (depends on whether it has a vanilla or moded enchantment).

=========Known Issues=========
1. The flying animation is ugly, it is a falling animation (the game of course thinks you are falling). I used to be able to create a standalone animation for falling when a magic effect is applied, but that trick is not working in starfield. I will try to fix it.
2. Need to do a air jump to trigger the floating effect, it is not convenient.
