General announcement, I've made this mod a standalone with an armor pack. Have yet to publish it. Expect it published by today and if not today early tomorrow. My new armor pack will come with 4 new standalone armor sets including the gunslinger and a whole variety of skins and customisable options as well as it being fully modular and each armor set has the ability to mix and match.

I posted the main mod: it can be found here https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/7149
    https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/7149

This mod includes this armor set as well as a few new ones as a standalone armor that doesn't replace anything, and includes the vanilla starborn armor as a craftable armor.

This armor is broken in your paid Hyla II mod on xbox.

I also experienced the same on Xbox. The paid Hyla II mod. The building is perfect fine at times in which is hard to explain for me. But the gunslinger starborn armor isn’t working. I put it on it’s invisible. The next time you do a mod/paid mod on Xbox. Check if everything is working properly.

Any one else think this mod gives you chicken legs. Talk about a slimed down waist, I think I'm gonna snap if a bad guy punches me.

    This is awesome! Instant DL!

Is there a way to get a version without the helmets, though?

As of now, no, the starborn armor disables the character's head even if I remove it. However, there is a skull version that lacks a visor. When the Ck comes out it'll be an easy fix, and all of my armor sets will be in one pack as additions not replacements.

Definitely prefer the novelty of your hood over that. I'm gonna be wearing the hood, I guess, then, as the armor changes are cool enough to outweigh my love of the vanilla Starborn helmets. Thanks for the response - looking forward to any versions coming in the future!

Edit: I just realized I think I was unclear. What I was looking for was a version that just had something like the vanilla Starborn helmet, rather than the hood you added. Sorry if I didn't make much sense. I've had some... uh... let's say edible encouragement today. Hahaha.

If you want it works flawlessly with TN's Modular Starborn Suits which allow you to recraft the armour with a removable helmet

You could go into the geometries file and delete the folders for the specific helmets you want to use hoodless.

Idk what other effects that might have.

As of the new update, this mod no longer works. Think you could update it please?

I too would love to see an update. If I had any idea of what was needed, I'd do it. But alas, beyond my old brain!

I love the suit, but I hate with all my heart the ugly rounder helmet, is like if we were in Spaceballs.

Could you make an alternative version with the operator helmet, please? Or at least left the original starborn helm intact....

Hilariously, with a passion I hate the stealth suit helmet and think it's the dumbest thing ever lol. Looks like some stupid beefed up dirt bike helmet.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but i can't quite figure out if this is a standalone suit or if it replaces the Starborn suit. if it is a replacer, are you working on a standalone version as well. Also are the different retextures replacement files or skins you can make in the crafting bench?

Damn, this is so cool. Honestly looks professionally done.

Going to try mixing this with True Starborn colors, see what happens.

      Of course!

I'm hoping to use this and only change the venator suit and the astra helmet, while keeping my current color schemes for the base suit that underlies every armor set, is that as simple as deleting everything that isn't in the 'hunter' folder?

Negative, Since I merged armor sets it wouldn't work. The only things I didn't change that are completely interchangeable are the plates. lower body and cape. The rest are merged and have altered UV maps.

Ah I see - guess I'll be spending the better part of my evening experimenting with combinations. It's what you did with the cape that's ingenious and makes this mod a must-have for me.

Here's some mix-and-matches I loved, and one that I need to play around with a bite more.

I'm new to modding and don't know a thing about retexturing/remodeling, but I think you just inspired me to learn.

Hey, quick question for you... trying to take your advice and see what removing the helmet geometries does, but all the folders are random letters and numbers. Help me out and tell me what I'm looking for?

I found the right ones the long way so I understand your pain.

Here's the info you need, the first few characters of each file name:

      [Helmets]
      Astra - Gravitas - -Tempus - Solis -> b77
      Locus - Materia - Bellum - Venator -Tenebris - Avitus -> f7fab
      Unknown Helmet Geometry - > 5ee
      [Capes/Armor]
Female NPC Remove Upper Cape Venator/Bellum Capes -> 7709
Male Player Upper Body Heavy Armor w/Capes -> c6a74
Male Player Upper Body Heavy Armor n/Capes -> 77fed
Female NPC Remove Upper Cape Gravitas/Locus Capes -> 786f
Male Player Remove Upper Cape Gravitas/Solis/Locus -> 8af015
Male Player Remove Upper Cape Venator/Bellum/Aviticus- -> 0bbff

Okay, so I need to look for the geometry folders with b77, f7ab, and 5ee and just delete those, right?

Btw, you're doing the lord's work here, my friend. Thank you!!!

Negative, it's going to take a bit more than that, As I dont yet know how to make standalones with xEdit just yet, the method to making this was different and saw the adjustment of uvs for models. the only way you would be able to remove the hood/helmet "I don't really understand what you want exactly. would be to open it in a 3d editor and manually deleting the combined mesh. Otherwise deleting the helmet geo will delete the entire helmet hood and all.

Ah damn. Okay. Yeah, all I really want is the vanilla helmet back for it. So you're basically saying that's not possible?
