weird - I can get the 2x to work fine, but somehow the 3x won't. i activate the plugin & the game just won't accept it. oh well, at least one work, so thanks!
Ok, I am quite certain that I have figured out how this mod works and I am currently creating a version for the Shattered Space DLC that doubles the enemy numbers. Preliminary testing in a few locations was successfull and I have finished all interior cells. I just need to do all the exterior cells as well now. Once that is done I will release the mod as a beta on Nexus.
As of the November 1 2004, the x2 version of this mod is functioning, when I get to Shattered Space, or if I add more enemies, I will let edit my comments if need be. This is a great mod.
My impression was that it worked with Spacer enemies in that one cave but not with other locations and new enemy types (e.g. Redeemed). At least I never saw a Redeemed double spawn.
I am also not sure, how the mod actually works, meaning if it adds enemies to every location by hand or if it has scripts that automatically spawn extra enemies whenever a certain type of enemy is present. If it is the latter, that would explain why it works for certain old enemy types even in new locations but not for new enemy types.
Ok, I took a look into the mod with XEdit and it seems like it adds additonal npcs ("Placed NPC") to a lot of cells and worldspaces.
So I would completely rule it out that it is working for Shattered Space currently, since it obviously does not include those new worldspaces and cells.
I would like to make a 2x enemy mod for the DLC but so far I have not even found where the original npc are placed, so I have no idea of the coordinates to place additional ones. (The places where this mod places the extra npcs only contains items. Edit: No, they do not, ok, one step further.)
Whenever I run the 3x version, the plugin gets disabled. The 2x version runs fine. LOOT is telling me the 3x version is lacking metadata, now I'm wondering if the 3x version should be loaded after and with the 2x version.

Edit: It works now, had some issues with the load order.
if you use the 3x or 5x version, you need another file as master....
