500m is far to close, i come in blazing to dock and often cant even slow down in time. Will this change the loot distance for picking up items in space after destroying a ship?

You are obviously just taking XX mod and breaking it down and releasing it as pieces. Yeah, no I'm not but I have taken inspiration on some things to tweak from these huge AIO mods that edit the entire game... but I haven't copied a single reference from another user and won't start any time soon. But even if I did, these are literally xEdit edits, so get off your high horse and shut up, it's not like my mods are using something that is actually created by someone (textures, meshes, scripts etc).

Making .esms out of every single one of these is redundant. it takes 1 bat /ccr file to execute all of those...and a second to revert to vanilla if need be.
I prefer ESM mods to batch files running scripts. I could also just run it in command line myself. But ESM is permanent and clean. So hopefully all existing bat/cmd mods get remade as ESM mods that modify game records. And I'd rather have more small mods, then using some AiO that has someone else's preferences all hardcoded. With small files I can pick what I want to have. Even better, if you open in xEdit after installing in Data folder, you can easily see exactly what values ESM changes, tool literally shows original and modded side by side and even highlights the rows with differences. Anyway, to each their own, but I hope small mods like this one keep coming.
Not just that, but when taking over ships in space you can dock easier, and not crash into them, plus when doing the switching of home ships to add to your ship collection, there's less chance your original ship will fly away before re-docking and switching home back again.
