Donation Points system
This mod is opted-in to receive Donation Points
This mod changes aspects of outpost building to remove limitations and weaknesses that add nothing to the game except frustration and obtuse amounts of micro management. This is a work in progress and more features will be added as the modding tools are going to allow for it.
So far included:
Power Generation
Increases the power output of outpost power generators x 5. For example: Reactor 1, default: 30, this mod: 150 Reactor 2, default: 100, this mod: 500
Rationale: it should not be necessary to plaster wind turbines all over your outpost to satisfy the required power demand.
Harvester Placement
Changes the build radius allowance for outpost harvesters to 1 so that they can be built closely together.
Rationale: Removing an annoying limitation that is compounded by the fact of random=generated terrain obstacles that prevent from placing a harvester.
Stronger Turrets and Robots
Improves the health and ranged accuracy of outpost turrets and robots. All of them have their health as well as damage resistances increased by a factor of 10 while turrets and security models in addition have their ranged accuracy increased to 95% (vanilla: 60%).
Rationale: Having your robots and turrets being destroyed at every outpost attack and having to search for them to repair them is not a fun game mechanic and adds nothing positive to the game, Todd!
