With this and A combination of her thicc mod, younger voice, smoother lips and pores, basically a longer version of her hair mod, maybe another mod but now she's totally different and I love it.
too lazy for all that command stuff you have to do for making the model the real Sarah npc... would love it, if you would make that easier, so that a dumbass like me can just click "install with mod manager" and everything is done.
Trying to use this method on *that* companion but i cant get it to stick, what I did after SLM-ing was click my "clone" with the console open and type capp 14. I then saved, exited the game and loaded back in. Is this not the right way to do it? or is it even possible for this npc?
Could you possibly remake Estelle Vincent as a character preset please? I really like the way she looks, but I probably wouldn't be able to recreate her.
Nevermind I figured out how to do it through console commands.
To take an NPC's appearance, you click on him/her for their ID, then write said ID down somewhere or simply remember it. You then go into 3rd person and click on your own character. After that, type CAPP XXXXXX (NPC's ID) which will give the NPC's appearance to yourself.
I did this for Vladimir upon meeting him and got it to work but now he is T-posing, and can't talk to him.' nvm I forgot to toggle ai back on(had made a clone of myself to not lose my character look and disabled ai so he wouldn't walk away)
I'm trying to use the SLM 14 / Capp 14 method on other npc's, Danni to be precise and though the face change works, she no longer moves her lips when speaking. Did I do something wrong? I've tried changing her a couple of times with the same result.
do you by any chance have an idea how to do the opposite? I want to save my own appearance to a different companion to then copy her face to mine for easy adjustment to use the command again, then simply put my face back on from the other companion.
You can spawn a random NPC to throw your appearance on with CAPP 14. To take your companion's appearance, you click on him/her for her ID to show up and type THIS which will copy their ID onto the command. You then go into 3rd person and click on your own character for your own ID to show up. After that, type CAPP XXXXXX (companion's ID) which will give your companion's appearance to yourself. After you're done fixing your companions ID to your liking, just use the CAPP XXXXXX (Random NPC ID) to take your appearance back from the NPC. After, just type DISABLE on the random NPC to make it disappear or kill it. Which ever works.
I assume this means you can also copy the appearances of one NPC to another by selecting one and then CAPP <other ref ID> (and if you happen to know both ref IDs you can do <first ref ID>.CAPP <other ref ID>). The player's ref ID is 14 so 14.CAPP or player.CAPP would work as shorthand.
Thanks for the mod, such a nice visage! I got it working(for Sarah in my current playthrough) but when I selected Industrialist background again my player character got unintended level ups in that background's related skills. I mean I already use a mod that boost 'relaxed' xp bonus to +200%, but now I feel dirty for cheating! Silly thing huh?
-I mean I don't mind giving myself advantages but that was unintended! Anyhoo, I have discovered you can console command skills away or In my case reduce them to correct levels again so all will be good.
Man all I want is to get rid of that racoon eyeliner she wears. Shame this solution ends up putting it all back on anyway. In any case, nice work on the preset.
I think the eyeliner does go away or not as thick as the original face once you exit the game and reload your save. The makeup goes away but face shape stays.
